  1. Coach Hicks put 3 bench players in when they were up 15 with 2:30 left and left them in until 1 minute. Thay hadnt played since the 2nd quarter and did not handle HC's pressure well at all and allowed HC to get within 10. After that, he put the starters in and all was well. I was impressed with HC's heart and effort after coming back from being down as much as 23-24. Good win for SC!
  2. Their bottom five could beat about :popcorn:75 percent of the teams in Kentucky.
  3. Btw Sayre has 2 8th graders who will be players down the road.
  4. Is the Barber kid from SC ok? Listened to the radio and they said they had to stop the game for about 5 minutes to clean up blood off the court. From what i gathered he had a bad cut on his head?
  5. I have never agreed with anything I've read on BGP as much as this.:thumb:
  6. Well with 2 of their top 6 players out with bad ankles and Jackson in foul trouble the whole game, and them STILL winning this game at Lex Cath with some home court advantage well known, I think they they are obvious favorites.
  7. Scott County will be a load. They have Kyle Wilshire, Adam Venci, and Robbie Barber(DNP last season sue to transfer in middle of season) as their top 3. All they need is a solid 4th man and we could see them win their region.
  8. After tonights events, is Scott Co the new number 1 team in the state? They have won 16 in a row, and have only 1 in state loss. Thoughts?
  9. And who said Euton couldn't score against elite teams?
  10. :dancingpa Holmes would probably win the rematch, but I'm proud of Boone for slaying the giant.
  11. With the amount of shots they take, if they shoot like that they could beat just about any team in the state.
  12. After Scott County handled the Station at their court in January, how do you think Bryan Station will come out? Who do think will step up in this game?
  13. I agree Dale, he is a Legit scorer. And IMO could create points at any level. :thumb:
  14. And certainly not to take away anything from Gelawn because he is an outstanding player, but Jackson is a more all-around player.
  15. Popp Is a very solid player, physically. He's built like an Ox. I dont think Housley or Johnson will "Bully" him around the basket. But as for all the other match ups, I agree with Eta.
  16. After a long drive, and on Elliotts home court, which is a very hostile enviroment (small gym with very, very roudy fans) I think Elliott will pull the upset. But I hope Mason can bring their A game, and tame the lions.
  17. The colleges listed were referring to Jackson. Lol. My bad for not making it clear.
  18. I could see Ferguson on there ahead of Rico, because he is a senior and he has also scored over 3,000 pts in his high school career. Now whether he is better than Rico, I do not think so, but he deserves a high award regardless.
  19. Good point. But I would imagine that since he's getting looks from schools like Florida, Louisville, WVU, Xavier, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, etc.. He has the most potential out of anyone on SC's team.
