Like lungbuster said, this is CORRECT! The coaches were told "they don't honor those cards." The question is, who are "they" to determine if the cards are honored or not at a regular season game. I would be willing to bet "they" honor them for the other schools that play them at home. That was just simply wrong!

There is NO way that gym will ever be full if the Black Bear Nation doesn't show up any better than they did tonight. For the first boys basketball in school history and it being just down the rode at Pineville --- I was disappointed the boys didn't get more fan support. Maybe the weather played a part, I don't know. Good win for the Bears! Still some work to do, but they showed some toughness tonight.

I just got on here and voted (again) and Gilliam is behind by almost 60 points in the online voting ------- I just don't understand! If anybody deserves this award, based on their stats, this kid does.

People need to get on here and vote for Gilliam - it's obvious by looking at the stats he deserves this award.

I really am having a hard time understanding where these last several post are coming from. I understand and agree with a lot of what is being dealt but it seems to be like Harlan Ind. is the only school around with morals. That JB is the only Coach around that has the leadership skills to head a football team. Finally, that winning is non-important in the big scheme of life. I have heard words of Blood, sweat and tears and even talk of the Good Lord Above! I think Harlan County has three of the best coaches in the entire state of Kentucky and all of them have Character second to none. Suggesting that Harlan Ind. is the only place around that has coaches with high morals is mind blowing. Important lessons can be learned both on and off the field and w's and l's have little to do with this, I agree! However, winning is very important also as long as it is done in the proper way and I know Harlan County has learders in place to accomplish not only character building but the w's also. After getting pm-ed several times about these last posts I felt I had to address them. This isn't a blast Harlan High post by any means and it is fine to pull positives from any and everywhere one can but remember we are also proud of our school and coaches alike.
