  1. How does 538 total yards of offense equate to "poor play calling" and a "dysfunctional" staff? I'm interested in hearing how many games you've coached in/been apart of.
  2. I'm not sure where this score came from bit Lexington Catholic played Mercer County last night and won 36-6
  3. Lexington Catholic: Scrimmage TBA Ballard August 24 Bowling Green (Rafferty's Bowl) August 31 St. Xavier September 6 Lafayette September 13 @ Bryan Station September 20 @ Madison Central September 27 Mercer County October 4 @ Boyle County October 11 Taylor County October 18 OPEN October 25 @ Marion County November 1 Boone County
  4. Garrett is a nice young man, hope he can see the field, but doubt he will. From what I hear his sister is a heck of a swimmer down there too.
  5. IMO, McCoy is a more dangerous threat at the high school level than any of the QBs HHS has had in the past couple of seasons. Not a knock to any of the other QBs, but rather a large compliment for Mr. McCoy.
  6. There were "demonstrably angry" HHS coaches last night as well, but am not saying that the anger wasn't rightfully provoked. All in all the officiating was lackluster at times. HHS was the better ball club and they proved that. McCoy is a hell of a ball player. IMO he may be a little more dangerous at the high school level than Towles was.
  7. I was there and Coach Letton was indeed on the field. The penalty was never intended to be an unsportsmanlike conduct/personal foul on Coach Letton. So, yes. I do believe that the penalty was appropriate. In addition, those saying Coach Letton ran to the middle of the field in some sort of barbaric tirade are simply untrue. There was discussion amongst the officials at about the numbers, and coach walked out there. Pretty normal IMO.
  8. The penalty was a sideline warning. The team is given that warning with no yard loss on the play, but if another flag has to be thrown for sideline management purposes, then it is a loss of yardage.
  9. Congrats to the Knights on one heck of a game! Also congrats to Boyle for a great season. Crazy that the trend continues that the winner of the regular season game between these two also wins the playoffs.
  10. He turned a SR class that had only won one game before this season, into a group that believes they can win. He also has a ton of freshmen playing a lot of time too. He has definitely turned the program around.
  11. Coach Washington is a class act. Great coach and even better man.
  12. Having a frosh play meaningful snaps isn't always the case. Lexington Catholic starts a freshman wide receiver that has made several huge plays throughout the course of the season.
  13. Paris scores on a last second td from the 8 yard line to win the game.
  14. If by that you mean that they are a better team from last year, then I agree.
  15. Trimble only dressed 21 players last night, and their best player, forget his name played qb/rb got hurt first game of season.
  16. Yes. Family issues prevented Clay from attending Lexington Catholic.
  17. Paris scores off two kick returns and a interception for td.
  18. Paris has about 30 kids dressing this season.
  19. Just passing along what I was told. Wasn't claiming anything I said to be fact.
  20. Just the occasional conversation with friends back home.:thumb:
  21. Thanks, Foley turned down the job from what I understand, thus the powers that be are now focusing on Buchanan now.
  22. Now Im hearing the name Dave Buchanan? Don't know much about him.
