Final.

congrats to the Knights.

IMO

The turning point was at beginning of 4th Quarter.

Rebels complete big pass for first down at LC 20 and down 20-16.

Flag on Rebels and pushes them back near mid-field. Can't convert.

LC gets ball back and scores.

LexCath pulled some real magic out of their hat at halftime. What a comeback!

See you guys next week!

Great season Rebels -- would have loved to have met up with our Loyal Boyle BGPers. Maybe next year.

Disagree. The turning point was when when Boyle still had the lead and threw the interception. Momentum completely and totally went to LC at that point. It was already shifting but after that interception they had all the mo.

Tip of the cap to LexCath. Completely different team after halftime. They played with poise, emotion and heart. Even when they fumbled in the endzone they recovered it. Everything went their way in the second half.

Lots of missed opportunities for Boyle. By my count Casey had maybe 3 bad passes all night. There were way more drops than bad passes. I feel bad for all the boys. This is the last group of kids at Boyle that I have been watching for a long time. I wish them all well they are all good kids.

Good luck to LC next week. Ryan is going to be fun to watch just like Bolin was.

Just back in. Definitely tale of two halves. LexCath came out very tight. Lots of dropped or squeezed balls that where not caught early on and there was an effort to 'put an extra wrinkle in' but the players were not confident in this and played tight.

Boyles first play from scrimmage set the tone that this would not just be a ground and pound game by them. It slightly misfired but Boyle still scored on the opening drive. No way could the Knights just put 8 in the box and jam up the run game. Boyle opened it up.

The fumble by Logan in the first half was similar to the interception by Boyle in the second half - it killed the first half momentum for the Knights.

Congrats to the Knights on one heck of a game! Also congrats to Boyle for a great season.

Crazy that the trend continues that the winner of the regular season game between these two also wins the playoffs.

We are each allowed an opinion. :)

From where I was watching, (on a computer), Boyle had LC on their heels in that drive and when the Rebels and Robbins got all the way down to the 20 with another first down the Knights looked like "Here we go again."

That flag (didn't see if it was legit or not because of the view on the screen but have to assume it was) left the Rebels with their heads down and LC with "new life."

Still a lot of time left but had the Rebels punched it in to retake the lead it would have been a wild and wooly finish.

Lexington Cath. made some adjustments at half time, Boyle never made any on either side of the ball. Again, their offensive play calling was the weakest part of their game. Instead of going to their running game the second half to shorten the game, they got caught up in trying to win the passing war and played right inro LC's strength. They were simply out coached. Boyle has some very good players returning and could be a very good team next year. If Coach French doesn't make some coaching assignment changes I'm not sure their talent can overcome the inept play calling that has no rythm or continuity that you need in a successful offense. There are some other staff problems that need to be addressed as well.Hopefully Coach French , who is a very good coach, will make the necessary changes to get these problems taken care of and the program returns to the champioship level .
