Hearing some rumors that coach was let go... Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I couldn't imagine they let him go.

Unfortunately the rumor is true. Bourbon is open.

Wow. Coach Poynter had done a nice job there. I think they might be the district favorite next year, just ahead of Garrard County.

What the heck happen?

I hate to hear this for Bourbon Co. Coach Poynter knows the game and how to establish and advance a program.

What happened?

Wow what a surprise, I can't understand what would have happened. Wish coach Poynter the best, if he is looking for a job he will make someone a good coach

Agreed.

Given the success Bourbon was having on the field, this looks like a move that stems from some other issue other than wins/losses. Any idea what promted Coach Poynters firing?

Wow! That is very surprising.

Not sure this is true but from what I've been able to gather. They ( school) wanted to go a different direction, someone who would get them to the next level. With the new field and such, wanted a "fresh" start. Don't know if that is true but they made a bad move if so!

Rumor is he is interested in Clark Co

I agree! If it is for any other reason, it will come out.

Go a different direction? That is stupid...they were a seller dweller for years until he got there.
