UHBlaze Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Whenever someone hears the draw could they please post it?
Fletch Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Wednesday at Madisonville Madisonville (21-9) vs. Webster County (16-11) Lyon County (13-13) vs. Christian County (10-18) Thursday University Heights (27-4) vs. Hopkins Central (14-15) Henderson County (17-7) vs. Livingston Central (9-16) Semifinals Monday March 10 Finals Tuesday March 11
Fletch Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 One of UHA's four losses was to Hopkins Central Madisonville will be without Jon Hood the rest of the year (broken wrist) Christian County may be the best 10-18 team in the last 15 years.
inthesuite Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I see UHA cruising, if Hopson wants to win this region, they will!.
UHBlaze Posted March 3, 2008 Author Posted March 3, 2008 Hopson was out for part of the game against Hopkins County. The whole team is clicking right now... With Hood out i'd say the only real threat is Henderson County.
The Scribe Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I wouldn't count out a rematch with Christian County in the finals.
westsider Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 With Hood out i'd say the only real threat is Henderson County. You may regret that statement in a few days ...
UHBlaze Posted March 3, 2008 Author Posted March 3, 2008 You may regret that statement in a few days ... Are you talking about Madisonville? Because Hood has scored well over 1/4th of his team's points this year and pretty much the same stats as far as rebounds, three pointers, and field throws. He is a great player and a BIG part of the team. With him out I honestly don't think they could even beat Christian Co. much less UH. Next year when Hood comes back they will be one of the Favorites to win Region Two. But this year ended when Hood got hurt.
hoopgirl Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I see another 8th district match up in the finals of the regional... How 'bout that 8th district!!
hop82 Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I'm going UHA-CCHS in the finals as well. The Litkenhouse had all four 8th district teams in the region's top 6 for a large part of the season. UHA will prevail.

HOPKINSVILLE TIGER Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 If UHA meets up with Christain County again it will be a tough game. Christain County beat them once and really had control of the last game until the 4th quarter. They are a hard playing team with some of the state's top talented young players! If they do lose again to UHA the next few seasons will be there's to lose as they have freshmen and sophomores for the most part.
The Scribe Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 I wonder if there has ever been an 18-loss team advance to Rupp Arena
