huntman138 Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 It was a great game, first half was lopsided as County was up by as much as 15 but Hills got a little momentum to head into the half and was only down 9 at halftime. Then hills went on a 13-4 run to start the third quarter and the second half was back and forth the rest of the night. Great game both teams left it all out there both teams matched up evenly.

All Tournament team: Jordan Morgan & Micah Goff - Frankfort; Brandon Raider & Dominique Johnson - Woodford County, Jay Van, Matt Hyatt & Ryan Belcher - Western Hills; Barrett Meyer, Ryan Conner, Andy Donovan & Deron Hicks - Franklin County. Hicks was the MVP! Flyers run the table in the District, and they don't graduate anyone!

First District Championship since Gary Moore was coaching at FC. It's been a long road rebuilding a program that at one time had a lot of tradition. With no seniors on this years team, FC will come out next season a very confident team. Maybe they will start getting just a little respect.
