Found out the other day that Ladyhounds coach Terence Brooks will be leaving the Ladyhounds to become the new head coach at Berea College. Brooks will be talking to his Paris team this evening!:cry:

Being a Berea College alum, this is wonderful news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrance demonstrated quickly at Paris that coaching does indeed make a difference. He truly understands the game!

 

I've always been a big fan and have nothing but respect for him.

 

The man embodies everything that a fine coach should be.

Congrats TB, I know you will do a great job at Berea as you have Paris High, you certainly have earned this opportunity.

Terrance has been an awfully good coach to Paris, I hate to see him go!!!

On the other hand I think Coach French would do a great job with the girls program,

he has coached these girls in summer AAU.

Under Brooks, Paris has epitomized "winning ugly" ... he's done a very good job making Paris a team that no one wants to play in a big game.

 

And before anyone asks, those are compliments.

He will be sorely missed at Paris. Just as everyone else has said he was able to get the job done in a way that oozed class.

I often wondered how long he would stay at Paris before something big came his way. He is a gentleman that deserves this chance.

Im sorry to say this but know matter who the coach is, if the talent is not there than the best coach in the world cant get wins!!!

The coach is the instructor and the girls play on the court to try and get the win!!!

Is this the same Terence Brooks that applied for the Mason County girls job last year and DID NOT even warrant an interview. I really have to question the hiring process at Mason County if that is the case.

I agree 100%.....Well said Mustang. Took his team last year to the All "A" and not the even favorite.
