This was a great game. I thought the officials done a great job and both teams played very hard. Great win for the Raiders I picked this one McCreary by 6.

Correction I was close by 7.

Were those 13th Region officials?

I'm saying that for two reasons: they aren't 12th Region and I have never seen them; they were going to keep Johnson and Corbin in that game in way they could. Madison Johnson should have been out of that game early in the third. They obviously do not know what an over-the-back foul is.

Either way, Watts and Co. held on. They had some unforced turnovers that almost cost them the game with just miscommunication.

Hounds missed too many shots.

They did probably shoot too many threes, especially when a high percentage weren't falling.

Another thing - Les was that you throwing your beverage at the McCreary student section?

Honestly, I know it wasn't. But that was a very unnecessary thing to do and completely uncalled for.

Congrats to Central. Looks like they backed up their spot in the BGP rankings.

I was sitting there and seen that too. That was very rude. Those two kids got soaked but held their composure very well. Great win for the Raiders!!

Before the game some Corbin fans said that they were 13th region.

LOL. No that wasn't me. I was at the South Laurel/Clinton County game tonight. Good win for McCreary Central. How they aren't ranked, I'll never know.

Congrats to McCreary Central. Corbin plays a top 20 and falls. That should poopoo the drama this week.

Here are the stats and it looks like the freshman Tyson Williams had a fine game.

McCreary Central 78 Corbin 71
Corbin 15 13 17 26 71
McCreary Central 18 17 16 27 78
Corbin (20-3) -- Wilson 23, Johnson 29, Taylor 4, Manns 11, Freeman 1, Smith 3.
McCreary Central (19-6) -- Dixon 12, Williams 11, Wright 11, Perry 7, Watts 28, Privett 2, Roark 7.

I thought the first half was well called. I do not know if Coach P. would not let the refs ride the bus back home if they did not change the way they called the game:lol:JK. At one point of the 2nd half the foul shots were 30 - 9 in favor of Corbin. And this was the only way they stayed in the game. That is my rant about the officials now I will praise the sportsmanship showed by both teams towards each other throughout the game. Both teams have quality coaches on the sideline.

They lost to a quality top 20 team. But they are ranked in two other polls. Who Dey!!!!!
