  1. I had an eye opener this year with my son in basketball. My question would be do we as parants push the kids to hard to be the best? Do we as parants push our kids to hard to live our sport days out through them? I do think we push these kids to hard but on the other hand some kids really enjoy playing year round. If a coach said my son my lose playing time if he didn't play summer ball, and my son didn't want to play, I guess so be it let him lose the time. Be real how many of our kids will go on to a big college or pros to play a sport. Not many
  2. Wow I am glad this isn't true. Beings that most didn't even speak of McCreary and they have wins against some you guys put in. Bias opinions is what appears here.
  3. These ratings mean nothing. After McCreary beating Seneca, Corbin and Male they get left out. Nice joke!
  4. Yes the officials were from the 13th region, but they did a fine job. The fouls count may have been a little on Corbins side, but if you watched the game the only thing a person could say about the officials is letting the corbin guards ride Watts. The officials did a great job. In the second half I thought Watts got rode a little much but you have to let these kids play. In fact the only one to complain about the officials was the coach from Corbin. So enough about the calling, McCreary won a very tough game, the end. About the fans, I thought the Corbin throwing incident was very classless. After the game a parent for Corbin was complaining about the officials saying Watts was pushing off, what would you do if you were getting rode, and then said "We would have won in Corbin." I was thinking excuses, excuses good win.
  5. This was a great game. I thought the officials done a great job and both teams played very hard. Great win for the Raiders I picked this one McCreary by 6.
  6. I have to say this, if McCreary girls played really good and McCreary boys played really bad then they have a chance to pull an upset, right. We could set here and so all night if,if and if but what if and if not this then if that and get no where. Southwestern is a nice team, but young. I don't see them getting pass Wayne so the end to all this if and if.:madman:
  7. The question was how good is McCreary? Right now they are the clear cut number one team in the region. They did lose to Mercer early but if they can get the nerves behind them the region should be fairly easy to walk through. As far as at the end of the year, that could be a different story. But right now the are number in the region.
  8. Nice joke, I really needed that on this snowy day.:dancingpa
  9. Weakest in the state? You are joking right. It may be down a little but have you seen McCreary play yet? If not they have played Pulaski twice and had the same outcome.
  10. The only way to get better is to do it. :idunno:
  11. This is the correct answer. Also about the player getting his fifth foul and the table not catching it, he can continue to play even with scores, until the table catches it. These foul calls are correctable errors until the next dead ball.:dancingpa
  12. 1400 is what the gym is suppose to hold. Don't see it but I still think with the way McCreary is playing they finally get pass SW by 7.
