A Corbin parent said the same thing you mentioned about Corbin riding Watts, but also said that Watts was so strong that he would just kind of grab the defender and push or throw him to the side. I think McCreary would likely beat Corbin at Corbin as well if they got the same open looks and knocked them down again. Everyone I talked to was impressed with the Raiders and thought they were the better team, although you always have some that want to make excuses.

 

What happened with the incident of someone throwing a drink, such as any idea who it was and why they did it? That sounds like strange behavior to me from a Corbin fan.

Watts is a really nice, super strong player

 

I had a chance to see him recently in Lex, he is really a very fine player and I do agree, he is strong, I also liked the point guard, they have a really nice team. Watts has really shot the ball well, really smooth, and a killer cross-over dribble, hope to see them in Rupp, good luck.

The McCreary student section (self-made) was in front of the crew from Corbin. I kept an eye on them for most of the game. They were cheering and whatnot and Corbin started making a run and outscored the Raiders by about eight to make it a two point game and the older women got up and started screaming and cheering, but directing it towards the fan section basically for a "here, we can do that too." Raiders made their run and the student section continued to stand. This was the point when the Raiders were pulling away and the fans were all loud, and for some reason, the man just grabbed his drink and tossed it at the students and turned his head as soon as it happened (like a 'that wasn't me').

Could we name the officials please?? Congrats to the Radiers. All the way. One quality team.
