I think Coach Riley has kid(s) that live in Louisville. Might be an enticement to get him closer to his grandkids. CAL has had plenty of good players come through there but it is a TOUGH district and TOUGHER region!

Tend to agree BUT did anyone tryout? With all lists, if you add someone, you have to take someone off. Who would you add to the list, and who would he replace?

To me that tiebreaker is absurd and just leads to something like this. Baseball tiebreakers should be runs allowed.

That High Profile Coach is an idiot. All studies show that playing on multiple sports in Youth/HS is much more beneficial to the athlete.

I have heard Rondo is in the mix at Eastern. It’s where he played before going off to Oak Hill. That would be a very interesting hire for the 7th region.

I’ve watched South a lot o over the last three seasons. Your last sentence is most important I do believe. They make the extra pass! Many teams have certain guys that “have the green light” and will shoot contested shots. South just seems to know that if I make this pass on this trip, I’ll get the pass on the next possession. Takes a lot of buy in from all involved and it’s a fun way to play.

I’m going SO They just shoot the ball so well and have experience against matchup zone. North plays a very good version and South got their open looks in region final.

X has the best resources around. Newish Gym. New weight room. 1,100 plus boys from anywhere in and around Louisville. Knocked out by Seneca and JTown with a MUCH better roster both times. Its gotta be something?

Heckuva game Thought North controlled most of it but Julian Miles made plays to keep South in it to win it. South Oldham vs Danville Christian will be an INTERESTING matchup. South doesn’t score a lot inside but they also don’t have a lot of size.

I understand your situation and appreciate what you did to go to CC. I always default to what the other players think? Why is his/her reason to miss any different than mine? Most people think THEIR reason is legit. I just don’t think you can let kids miss but I know each situation is different Great thought provoking topic!

It’s funny how work/things come up rarely happen on game days?
