Final.

Down goes #1!

Great performance from Jtown to get the win.

So impressed with how J-town just made play after play in the last 5 minutes. This tournament is wide open.

Told yall J-Town was no slouch!

Often as not, J-town comes up big in the postseason.   You sleep on them, you pay the consequences.

Congrats to Jeffersontown.

Another reminder that Kentucky post-season basketball is a brutal gauntlet. Maybe the most demanding in the country in any sport, especially for teams from our best regions (7th and 11th, for example).

In most cases, you have to be on your game for 8-9 straight games. It's a challenge that can break anyone, even the state's season long #1 team.

We’d gotten a bit too accustomed to the favorite going in winning it. Lyon County was favored last year, Warren Central the year before, George Rogers Clark the year before that. More intriguing to see this result out of the gate.

Have to question Klein's coaching at some point.

Didn't even get out of 7th last year with favorite and then gets upset this year in 1st round with consensus best team in state.

Newish Gym.

New weight room.

1,100 plus boys from anywhere in and  around Louisville.

Knocked out by Seneca and JTown with a MUCH better roster both times.

Congrats to J-Town! They were like Rocky getting knocked on the mat several times but came out of the bout the winner.

St. X 3 pt defense wasn't good and that and other things cost them in the end. They also didn't play as fast so I think they got away with what got them there. They also weren't great from the free throw line. I didn't see the stats but I think J-Town out rebounded them because I thought St. X did a poor job blocking out. Good luck to J-Town the rest of the tournament.

Best player on the court showed up in the second half and became an enforcer downlow and the Tigers had zero answers for him. Tough way to end a great season for St. X, but they do return a lot of players next year and this experience should allow the team to keep taking steps in a positive direction and be a more consistent player in the city and state basketball scene.

Final thought... did Klein get outcoached? Too many times, it looked like St. X was disorganized on the court.

J-Town won at the free throw line plus St.X had 6 more turnovers. J-Town also made one more three than St. X.
