Folks around the game in Louisville will know that for years it has been said that Rondo wanted to get into HS coaching after playing. Now how serious that is, I have no idea.

This would be a great spot. Can bring his son in and have some young talent to work with.

Not sure it’s official but I know he interviewed for it and he resigned from his dean of students position at OCath! I’d say it will be official next week!

I think Coach Riley has kid(s) that live in Louisville.

Might be an enticement to get him closer to his grandkids.

CAL has had plenty of good players come through there but it is a TOUGH district and TOUGHER region!

I can't really say as I'm not closely associated with the basketball program, I just know that nothing is official with the hiring of a new coach.  I can say that the AD, Brad Morgan, will hire the person who best upholds the qualities the school embodies both on and off the court.  He'll do his due diligence before making any hire and won't rush into anything.  I don't know a thing about Coach Riley, but if he fits that mold, he'll have as good of a chance as any candidate.
