I'm hearing Anthony “Mookie” Payton I don’t know much about his history though.

At this point it’s anyone’s guess but word going around is Clark never even applied like originally speculated but at this point I’m honestly not sure.

There’s been so much “reckless speculation” about this job! I think a decision will be made Monday but I don’t think it will be Marc Clark like I originally thought!

If he was to leave McLean the right hire would be critical or it would set that program light years behind!

He still has lots of talent returning at McLean and word that he will be getting some basketball players out! Hopefully McLean County does what it takes to keep him around!

Here’s my question! What’s the next move for Josh Jaggers? I’d like to see him come to the western part of the state and coach some!

Zach Wagner or Marc Clark one of the two will wind up with this job.

Not so fast my friend! The three seed has to travel to McLean County I wouldn’t be so fast to count out Coach Zach Wagner and the Cougs! Going to Paulsen Stadium in the playoffs will be a tall task for anyone!

I disagree! I don’t think they beat McLean County in two weeks! McLean County even in a loss I feel like made a statement last night against a tough Union County team!

They are coming off a 9-3 season! And return quite a bit more than anyone in our district! This is the fastest team Coach Wagner has had in his 13 year tenure at McLean County!

Both Glasgow and Union County and I’m not sure they aren’t better than Hart County too!

McLean County is severely underrated in class 3A!

After 4 years at the helm of the Maroons, head coach Jon Newton has resigned to spend more time with his family! Huge loss for the Maroons as Newton has shown he is one of the best coaches in the 2nd region year in and year out!

Anyone heard any rumblings on this opening?

Webster has some talent returning and some incoming talent coming in as freshmen! There’s potential there for Webster to actually have a good program in the next few seasons if the right hire is made by Lagrange.

Word on the street is Webster County Head Coach Zach Lagrange has resigned.

Is that an assumption or have heard that’s his next move?

If a move to Owensboro is what’s happening what’s the chances we see Barnes on a staff somewhere in Owensboro next season? You would have to think he would be a welcome addition to all four staffs within the city!

Better add Caldwell County to this list!
