  1. I got an assumption we will know more about that situation next week and as the old saying goes never say never!
  2. So word on the street in coal country is that former head coach and Muhlenberg County legend Steve Sparks is the leader in the clubhouse to be named new head coach of the Mustangs!
  3. I’d say that depends on who you talk too!
  4. Looks like another 3rd region job is open now in Breck County! Look for Brad Payne to be a name to watch for in that one! Don’t expect Jeff LaGrange to stray too far though I hear he’s expected to take a new job in the athletic program!
  5. Tune into tonight to the Red Devil Rundown on 92.9/93.3 WVJS or watch the livestream on any of the 102.7 The Game social media pages as they spend the show honoring Rod Drake and have an update on the coaching search with AD Harper tonight in the final segment!
  6. To my understanding it was to spend more time with his family! I don’t think he will be the hire though!
  7. In terms of the Muhlenberg job Colin Doss- Murray Head Coach Steve Barker-3rd Region Legend current Ohio County Assistant Logan Patterson-McLean County head assistant Kyle Eades- Former Muhlenberg County Head Coach all names I’ve heard are either interested or have applied for this job!
  8. Colin Doss- Murray Steve Barker-3rd Region Legend current Ohio County Assistant Logan Patterson-McLean County head assistant Kyle Eades- Former Muhlenberg County Head Coach all times I’ve heard are either interested or have applied for this job!
  9. They must be expecting something cause he got them in the KOB and the White Greer Maggard tournament both for next season!
  10. That McLean County game is October 8th on a Thursday!
  11. Not the case in the last realignment they did not allow schools the choice to opt to move up in class!
  12. I just wanna know how many schools it would cause to move to 1A! Seven schools in 1A have to use the multipler so I’m curious which schools have to move up to 2A because of it! Also curious if they will use the average of 24/25 and 25/26 or just use 25/26.
  13. Which leads me back to my original question which schools get pushed down? Crittenden county and McLean county both seem like good possibilities.
  14. Will they go by the 24/25 male total or 25/26?
  15. One would assume with a board of control meeting coming up on the 19th we will see the first draft of the 2027/2028 realignment based upon the release of ones prior! Any thoughts on major moves to look at potentially?
  16. So at 22 years old that would have to make Adrian Stringer the youngest head coach ever in the state wouldn’t it?
  17. That might make him the youngest head coach in the state and possibly ever.
  18. Sounds like it might be Adrian Stringer after all.
  19. Any word on who the candidates are?
  20. There is talent there if they get the right coach! A very talented freshman class if you can get them all to come out and an incoming freshman that’s one of the best running backs in all of WKY in one game last year he had over 500 yards rushing and 9 TDs.
  21. The senior class at Christian County lost a lot of kids who decided to transfer out of the program to other schools! Two names who standout are Aden Bolden who played his high school ball at McLean County and Boobie Leavell who moved to Tennessee! Both would have really helped the program had they stayed at Christian County!
  22. Hopkins County Central imo is the most underrated team in the whole 2nd region and has a legit shot at competing for a regional title! Chris Sullivan comes to Hop Central from the Tim Haworth coaching tree! They already have Butcher, Jagoe and Channing Stone then in the offseason they quietly added Peyton Smith from North Hopkins and Samari Pettus who played his freshman season at Norton Academy in Georgia but has returned home to Hopkins County! Look for the storm to surprise a lot of folks around the 2nd region and even the state of Kentucky this season!
  23. Noted! I got a feeling you’ll be wrong about this just like you were when you said OHS wasn’t hiring Ganaway!
