  1. Coach Q Wallace and his DC Panthers make the 30 minute drive to Paulsen Stadium coming off a 7-6 loss to Henderson County! Can Coach Zach Wagner and the Cougars pull off the win over 6A Daviess County or does Q Wallace and crew get win number 3 on the year?
  2. Off topic some but I’m hearing OHS got a new enrollee from Ohio that will be a big time peice for them at Defensive Back! I think all he’s waiting on is clearance from the KHSAA.
  3. According to Catholics FB page an announcement is being made Monday! From what I’ve heard it ain’t in house but it ain’t who I thought it would be either! It will shock the 3rd region!
  4. But it won’t be! I’d say we will likely know this week but just remember I wasn’t wrong about the OHS football job either!
  5. I’d still watch for Brad Payne and former Campbellsville-Harrodsburg head coach Austin Sparrow! If it’s not one of them il be completely surprised!
  6. Like I told you with the OHS football job it won’t be an inside hire! Take that to the bank!
  7. I expect Webster County to be much improved as Jon Newton returns to the bench for his 2nd tenure! Look for incoming freshman Caleb Bumpus to make an impact for the Trojans! Also Hopkins County Central! They are loaded with young talent! I would think they are the front runner in that district! Channing Stone is a name to watch for them!
  8. Personally I’m not too familiar with Johnson but I think Payne or Barker would both do well there!
  9. With Tim Riley taking the CAL job where does that leave the Aces?
  10. From sources in Owensboro close to the situation it is indeed official!
  11. Not sure it’s official but I know he interviewed for it and he resigned from his dean of students position at OCath! I’d say it will be official next week!
  12. It’s Tim Riley from Owensboro Catholic!
  13. Webster County has officially named Jon Newton as the new head Basketball Coach!
  14. Word around the street is that Corey Garrard has resigned as head coach at Webster County! Jon Newton immediately jumps out as a potential replacement which would make that his second tenure as head coach of the Trojans!
  15. Yes official as of today!
  16. Looks like Henderson got their guy! Current Evansville North Head Coach John Elliot!
  17. Been pretty quiet from everything I’ve heard!
  18. That’s highly unlikely! He stepped down to spend more time with his family! If I was guessing and I’ve honestly got zero idea but Tyler Brooks at McCracken would seem like the most likely choice to me!
  19. Things in Henderson are awfully quiet!
  20. You hit the nail on the head!@Calico Jack
  21. He went 0-9 at Evansville Bosse! But like I told some guys earlier today that 12-20 at Ohio County says enough for me considering they haven’t had much success as program! Dude has proved he can coach now let’s see what he does when he finally has some “jimmies and joes”.
  22. I never said that! I said that new talent would come in! Meaning think you will see kids within the city will migrate to OHS! I kinda compare it Deion going to Colorado lots of excitement and new players wanting to come play there!
  23. Of course it is! Come On Man!! Congratulations to you guys though! The excitement is just beginning for you guys! Looking forward to seeing what other talent you wind up with cause I assure you more will be on the way before week 1 next season!
