CBC was faster and more athletic than Anderson for sure. But in the end, the Rocks were still able to pull away. Was very good to see the passing game get going + the running ability still be there. 2-0 and having won those games by a combined score of 111-34. Great start. Now onto Moeller next week at home.

I don't know too much about CBC other than they are the top team in Missouri. Have had folks tell me it should be a better opponent than Anderson was. It's gonna be possibly the longest bus ride in Trinity football history. But I believe the Rocks can get it done. Let's see that offense explode once more and the defense continue to clamp down and apply pressure at all angles. And as @new fan mentioned, I fully expect the week after to have national hype after this coming week.

Looks like both Trinity and Seneca will be playing in the first annual Kentucky Basketball Classic, which will be hosted by Thomas Nelson. Dec. 12th. Arbiter has Trinity vs Taylor County and Seneca vs Christian County. WEB Dubois and Moore are other Louisville teams playing in the event. Thomas Nelson (host), GRC, Grayson County, and Apollo also listed as playing.

I believed Trinity would win the game but I did not see the show the Rock put on tonight coming. It was a good old fashioned butt whooping in Cincinnati tonight! Rocks were in control from start to finish. Ran the ball well, good in the air, and struck fear in the opposing QB on every snap it felt like. What a great way to start the season. 1-0. Now its time for the Rocks to prep for a trip to St. Louis next week.

Biased with most of my knowledge of 1A being mostly teams in Louisville, but senior Jerek Hoover (QB/S, Holy Cross). Going to be a three-year starter this fall. Threw for 1,719 yards and 16 TDs while also rushing for 838 yards and 12 TDs last year. Was top 25 in total rushing and passing yards. Had 16 tackles and 1 sack on defense as well. Very exciting player.

I will believe it when I see it, especially after that chatter over the past few years. However, I would think if and when Cobb hangs it up, defensive coordinator Michael Fox would be the front-runner for the job.

Queen was Seneca's leading scorer last season as a freshman.
