We will get called on this in our playoff games. We won't have our refs.

@Devils Fan one thing we need to change now and or it's going to be a huge problem in the playoffs when we don't have local boys calling our game is the TD celebrations and taunting we got called for last night. It's really embarrassing. I really don't want us losing in the 3rd or 4th round when the game is close. Overall, we beat the hell out a good team last night, but the celebrations are a little over dramatic imo. If our local referees are calling it then it's going to get called later in the playoffs.

Our defense kept Max Johnson moving a lot. He can make plays on his feet but I felt like we were just as fast as him. Apollo got in the red zone 4 times I believe. I'll have to go watch the replay , they still have a very good offense. I've always said this, Rash Stadium is a hard place for teams to come in and win. If Catholic played us at Rash Stadium it wouldn't have been 7-35. I think getting everyone back but Ganaway was huge for us. Biggs has played 2 great weeks so far.

The kid that got ejected is not a huge impact player for us. It hurts us because now the 3rd string DE is playing there.

This game at Graves County is making this game interesting.

I would say the 3rd/4th rounds would look like this in the WEST: LCA at Catholic Mayfield at Somerset Winners play each other Round 4 I think Round 4 in the EAST would look like Belfry vs. Beechwood

I just don't see it happening. It was a humbling experience to watch the Red Devils get embarrassed.

One thing I have heard from some of my guys is that Demarcus Ganaway Jr. is playing. I was told about 4 weeks ago it was a 6-8 week recovery. I still don't think he should play but it makes me feel a lot better about this game. Also Tee Green is playing. I think we are getting healthy. LET'S GO!!!!!

That's a pretty close score. You've played us and Apollo. Can they score on us?

This game still worries me a little. I think it's a closer ball game than 3 TDs. The fact we only put 7 on Cath defense and Apollo scored 43 worries me some. I know Catholic scored a lot on Apollo but if you told me they would score 35 on our defense I would have laughed at you.

Owensboro Catholic hosts Meade County Friday after a 49-12 win over Bardstown. Meade will look to control the clock with its physical running game, but Catholic's speed and explosive offense should be difficult to contain.

Apollo travels across town to face Owensboro in a matchup between two teams coming off impressive district wins. The Eagles enter with momentum after a dominant 34-7 victory over Muhlenberg County, while Owensboro is coming off a 49-7 win over Graves County. With both teams playing well, Friday night sets up as a big city rivalry game with important district and playoff implications.

You are correct for sure, but if we were full strength I would feel really good. This is probably one of the best chances Graves Co. has to beat us at Rash Stadium.

As the game approaches this game is making me more nervous then last week. We have a huge injury bug.

I agree. If Beechwood beats Cov. Cath they are #1, but I have to go with the Aces of OBCath on this one. The rest of their schedule are W's.

What I have noticed is their Defense is a lot better then last year. I watched them play Owensboro Catholic and they weren't very impressive. They were alot better in 2024 then 2025. Now, I think they are better again.

Owensboro comes into the matchup with Graves County after a tough 35-7 loss to Owensboro Catholic. The Red Devils struggled with turnovers, missed opportunities in the red zone and inconsistent execution in that game, so they will be looking to respond at home. Graves enters the game at 1-3 after a 14-0 win over Union County, and this should be a much more competitive matchup than Owensboro's record might suggest. For Owensboro, the key will be getting back to playing physical, disciplined football and taking advantage of its opportunities offensively. Who ya got?

Apollo heads to Muhlenberg County looking to build on the 43-0 win over Hancock County and get to .500 on the season. The Eagles have already shown they can play explosive football, but this game will be about consistency, protecting the football and playing better defensively. Who ya got?

Owensboro Catholic comes into this one riding the momentum of a big 35-7 win over Owensboro after a score of 63-41 against Apollo the week before. Bardstown presents a different challenge, but the Aces have shown they can score in a variety of ways with Dre'Mail Carothers directing the offense. Catholic should be favored at home, but Bardstown will have to find a way to slow down a team that is playing with a lot of confidence right now. Who ya got?
