Many many kids withdrawal and move schools daily in the state. The vast majority are legitimate, as has been stated above. The vast majority are not for athletics. This is bound to happen. Kids may be in FFA in one district or school at the begiining of the year and then in FFA for another school later. Happens all teh time. As stated when it is a good athlete and affects your team is when it is noticed.

You have probably picked the top 4 and all or none of them could make it to the tournament. I would say 2-3 will make it. It's the luck of the draw from there.

Change is hard for some. Exposure for kids is great. If Thursday does it, then do it.

My grandson will go to Royal Spring next year and you can basically see Scott Co. HS fron RSMS. Less than 1/2 mile. from football field

NBA and NHL are different animals live. I am not much of an NBA fan on tv, but I will go to a game live all teh time if they were in Cincy. It is that different.

The biggest misconception in sport is they don't play defense in the NBA. They play great defense. The worst NBA team will shut down the best D-1 team defensively. Very few NCAA playerswould be able to get their shot off or establish position on the blocks. NBA players are a different level offensively, also. You especially notce it when you see a game live. But that should be another thread.

I just cannot comprehend all of this. Beyond my intellectual knowledge in this area. I need things in the technology world explained to me as Denzel Washington said in the movie Philadelphia, "explain it to me like I am a second grader".

Teams become much better in testers like this. Both teams, hopefully, will keep improving. Losing is never an outcome teams and coaches want, but losing is not a bad thing if you learn from it.

No they can't. They cannot be involved in personnel in any way other than what I previously mentioned. It is illegal to do what you described. As a superintendent, I would tell the board to not show it and remind them of the law. If they kept on I would walk out and report it. I would contact the board attorney to advise them.

The school board cannot be involved in any way with the hiring and firing of personnel. It is strictly a SBDM, principal and suerintendent decision. If the board intervenes in any way, they can be reprimanded or in the worst case scenario, removed. The Board of Education can only hire and fire the Superintendent, board treasurer, board attorney and board secretary. Now if you mean the superintendent's office, they can intervene to a point. But really it is the principal that calls teh shots.

They also had close wins against Brossart, Bone County, and Conner. All decent to good teams, but no where near Top 25 in the state, such as, Lex cath and Campbell County. Iwould think they would handle the former three better than that. I agree, they are a good team that can be outstanding. They certainly haven't been consistent, but it is still early.

Newport looks like one of those teams you just don't know what you will get. Not a team you want to play tourney time. They could be a one and done or make a big run. Very up and down team thus far.

Looks like they had enough competition. This makes no sense.

MC is on my radar now, and I suspect others. But really, I think most believe MC will be good, usually a contender in a very tough region. That is an extremely impressive win over a very very good team.

Initially this was posted as Pineville 89 Corbin 40 on the KHSAA Riehards Scoreboard. It was at least that way for 10 minutes. It was the 2nd score posted. I kept loking because there was just no way I thought Pineville could win and by 49, well, it would have been an awesome upset. In reality, this is as expected.

Area wise Campbell County is much smaller than Boyle. Add Dayton to the mix of a title from Campbell County.

Was one of the transfers for Robertson Co. a foreign exchange student? I have heard that they have one. If so, I was wondering if he'd be eligible.
