  1. I would have had to take the Chiefs and @Beechwoodfan the Rams. Would have been fun
  2. Either ABC has sound problems or that is teh loudest stadium I have ever heard. Good start for the Bearcats
  3. I understand. I believe you can be a fan and not have a favorite team. I like college football and have watched more this year than in a long time. I like it, although I don't have a team I really like.
  4. Go play the game. I don't think it will matter. But Regional finals on shoud be at neutral sites.
  5. I can't really see the ball as well as I'd like, so I can't say.
  6. I watched the whole game. I will preface by saying I really don't root for either team and not a fan at all of either. I generally root for whoever plays either. I am about as objective as you can get. It was total domination, especially the 2nd half. Andy Reid could have been OC and the Birds would have struggled. The Colonels have better players and more specifically were better up front on both sides of the ball. Simple as that.
  7. Bengals and no one else's close. UK, UC, XU in College BB, UK, UC in college football. Blue Jackets in hockey and NBA no favorite.
  8. CCH couldn't get out of their own way in the first half. Fumbed punt, intercepception on HHS 30 and a shanked FG. The second half was a steamroller. The Colonels dominated.
  9. I don't believe ML is going anywhere unless he wants to. Bringing Hue back is a "meh". If it helps with beating Cleveland twice, then that is good. He certainly won't have a negative effect, positive we will wait and see.
  10. Just a no brainer. They really only only had two options to fill in the role, Marvin or Haslett. I am not sure they will be much better. They can't tackle anyone or cover speed. Hopefully, they can at least slow teams down. Their next three games are against pretty average to poor offenses, so they should be better because of the competition they are playing.
  11. You put a great offense against the league's worst defense, and only have an average offense at best wihout ther best player....well you get blitzed 51-14. The Bengals are no where near a competitive team against the very best 4-5 teams.
  12. USF had some big play scores that hurt the Cats early. They finally contained them.
  13. Kentucky'sssue is not an offensive scheme issue. Players are open in the passing game, Wilson doesn't see them or is late with the ball. This is a QB issue plain and simple.
  14. The one thing I would change about college football is the length of the games. I am going to watch the NFL all day on Sundays because that is my preference by far. Giving up a Saturday, also, is tougher. It seems like every college football game is 4 hours long, A lot more wasted time in nothing happening. Next in college football, for me, is I have no strong allegiance to any team I like both UC and UK the same, but won't anguish or get ticked or lose sleep if they lose. A Bengals loss, however, puts me in a really bad mood. That is shameful and pitiful, but reality. People just leave me alone for a few hours then I am good to go. College football does not have that affect on me. Lastly, I would like to see a 16 team playoff for the sheer enjoyment of watching one and done competitions. Yes, Alabama this year is going to beat any team easily (if Tua is playing and healthy, he is that big a difference maker), but normally there are 4-5 that could win it. A bowl game is just a waste of time. If the NFL had bowl games and a playoff (see how stupid that sounds), I would not care if the Bengals played in a bowl game.
  15. Hard to believe all the criticism of a 7-1 team playing their biggest game in many many years. Usually fans are counting how to get 6 wins to play in the jump shot bowl or something. Or already eliminated. Enjoy the run. Lots going right.
  16. I have Apple tv at the lakehouse with the slingbox app to tie back to my place in Alexandria. I get so confused and can't connect all the time. My son can, but I am not doing something correctly. I rarely watch it when I an there, though. I have Spectrum at home and pay way too much, but the convenience and being user friendly is important to the lovely lady and me. Just no frustration and almost always works.
