2nd regional championship for the Mustangs in their 5 year existence. Great comeback by the team after a strong Graves Co. squad had them down by 9 in the 3rd. Mustangs were the best team in the region down the stretch and played awesome defense against two excellent teams from Mayfield and Graves. Good luck against Oldham Co.!

How long of a bus ride is it from McCracken to Lexington? about 5 hours?

However long, it is a ride they gladly will take I am sure.

Closer to 4 hours. On the positive side, Paducah is very close to the SEC Tourney site in St. Louis this weekend. Just shy of 2 1/2 hours.

Looking forward to seeing the Mustangs! I broadcast the Oldham County ballgames and will be in Rupp to cover the Colonels. Obviously, I don't get down to Paducah much to see the far WKY teams....can someone give me a lowdown on the Mustangs?

McCracken is a classic region 1 team. SLOOOOOW pace of play, hard nosed defense, solid fundamentally. Will usually not beat themselves. Started the season slow but have played very well the last month or so.

They held the top 2 Region 1 teams to 37 and 38 pts in the Reg 1 tourn.
