I vote for War Memorial Stadium in Mayfield. Fans would get that tailgate experience each game and that ROAR from the stands is unmatched.

Appreciate everyone coming out to the tailgate. Several Beechwood fans got to eat and I saw the Beechwood cheerleaders over there partaking in the brownies. LOL. It was an absolute awesome atmosphere at War Memorial. The donation bucket tallied around $2k that went to a family in need. The game... couldn't ask for a better semi final game. These last 2 games for Mayfield has had state finals game written all over it. On to the Championship which will be just as tough as the last 2.

Well, the first one we ever cooked was against Beechwood. We really wanted to tiger stripe it but couldn't find edible paint.

You know what the semi finals at War Memorial means. Camp Cardinal and a pig roast.

As I said before, PT will get better every week. They are going to be a tough out.

Nice win. Nobody was surprised in this one. Mayfield has to clean up the penalties. I know a couple of them were terrible calls but still to many.

Danville will be right there in the thick of things when it matters.

For my Cards. Thought Stinson had his best game of the year. He was money. What can you say about Matthews? Kid is all heart and no quit in him. Defensively, thought we played great after that 1 st qtr. The long run by 6, super fast kid. It happens. Not sure what happened on the other long run with Askew. Couldn't believe he escaped that. The long pass play we had good coverage. Perfectly thrown ball by PT Qb. I like this team and see another deep playoff run.

This PT team will make some noise. The thing I liked the most about them was they were very disciplined something they have not been in the past several years. Very few penalties. No stupid personal fouls or unsportsmanlike penalties. Looks like Duncan and Smith have got this team turned and headed in the right direction for a change. Good luck the rest of the way.

There is a reason they lost those games. Team Chemistry. Apparently there is none along with some other very disturbing issues.

55RedDog aint that the truth. I'v heard some great ones from him. And Coach Morris just plain could not speak when he got mad. That was the funniest thing to us when he was mad he would just jumble words up. Thought he was having a stroke sometimes.

if this is the case then Mayfield should be psyched out against PT with all the wins they have against us. We all know how that story has gone over the last decade.

For those that don't know. All of those vehicles parked down in the endzone have every right to be there. They are sold by the booster club. There isn't anything any other school or khsaa can do about it. It's part of the mystique of war memorial stadium. It's the only stadium around where you can tailgate and watch the game and never have to move. It will get rowdy at times especially when fans, coaches or players come to that end and taunt the fans. As for this game, it's over. Next up, bring on CAL!!!! it should be a good one.

it was 97. Murray took the opening kickoff back for a TD. It was a field position game and Murrays punter, Shane Andrus, kept us inside our own 20 all night long and we couldn't get out. Andrus went on to kick for Murray St and hit the 50 yd game winning FG against Tony Romo and Eastern Illinois. He kicked in the NFL for a couple yrs I believe..........Mayfield by 40

After the schedule that we’ve played these first 6 six games I’ll take 5-1 any day. We have to take care of business next week against Murray and then a much needed break.
