Southwestern Winning the 12th? I don't think anyone outside of their momma's and daddy's thought that was possible.

Congrats Warriors!

Congrats to the Warriors. They earned it by beating the top 3 teams in the region.

Good luck at Rupp Arena!!! Make the 12th Region proud!!!!

What a turn of fortunes so quickly. You just never know.

Congrats to SW. I thought any of the teams could win a couple and thought 3 or 4 could win it but SW was not one of the teams I thought could win to the whole tourny. Congrats to them !!!!!!

On an unrelated note, I understand Bryce Slone was only whistled for 2 fouls in this game.

Nah. It was 5. He fouled out of this one too.

Hunter Stephens balled out tonight! What a fun player to watch! Another gritty effort by the Warriors. Mercer was up 10 with 3 1/2 left. Let foot off gas too early.

Tough way for Faulkner's high school career to end.

Prior to the tournament, did you think it was a possibility for Southwestern to win it?

They weren't even on my radar.

Not even slightly. Their victory is what makes the format in KY HS basketball so excellent. They lost 39-24 in their district championship game but they are headed to Rupp. That is awesome.
