Ravens 26 Steelers 14

The Steelers will not fire Tomlin. Look at their history. They just don't fire head coaches. -

The big changes I see with AD is noticeable. He does seem more confident and his demeanor shows it. I believe much of it is just experience, but Lazor seems to have developed an offense with AD in mind. Also, Van Pelt, who spent a few years as Rodgers QB coach, seems to have helped, also. Maybe it is me, but AD seems much stronger. The few times he has rolled to his right and thrown dimes on the run was not something he ever did much or maybe never did. I have always thought he was good enough, but to be fair he has not gotten them over the prime time hump. Maybe, just maybe he is getting there. -

I will take this one. I had negatve feelings the whole way. Beasley ate up Glenn near the end of the game and AD just stayed in there and made plays. That is the latest AD has had a TD pass to win a game in regulation. I am real concerned about the defense, but I do know the Facons has as good an offense as there is in the NFL. I agree with @nkypete, 1-1 through the NFC South on the road.is a positive. 3-1, with 3 of those road games. Hold home fild pick up a couple more wins on the rod and take your chances. -

The defense is just awful. The offense is as good as it gets. I think the Bengals have become the New Orleans Saints light. A major turnover, as one of the announcers said, will determine this game. I will say this AD is a different QB this year. He is playing outstanding. I will say, guys are wide open, and he is making great reads. I just jinxed him. -

Has the NFL gotten too soft?
Bengal Maniac replied to nkuclubbaseball19's topic in National Football League (NFL)
Eventually they will need to bring back in the grasp and stop the play then. That would protect the QB and get at least some chance to the defenders. That would kill QB's like Cam and Big Ben, though. -

Well, he does have a history of quitting. I know you aren't surprised. Hopefully, they can get Brohm in the future, but who knows if he wants it anymore. -
I love and I mean love candy corn and circus peanuts. May stop at Rural King to get some for the ride home.

I read the judge said no less than three or more than ten. How they determine when was not clarified. No bail on appeal. No early release was specified. -
I knew it was something. The Bengals are 0-13 on the Sunday Tiger Woods wins a golf tournament.

10-5-1 will win it, probably the Steelers. -
And down to two. Good luck @Jaysie and @SLINK. He should be in the conversation but he plays at Kentucky and is not a QB, so the odds are against him. They have to keep winning for him to have a chance. I think most of the nation just think he had a great game Saturday. Most of the nation hear he broke a few Kentucky records, well to them, it is Kentucky, not very relevant. Just the way it is. It is a two way race between Tua and Haskins in my mind and Tua has a healthy lead at this point. Alabama with an elite offense is scary and Tua makes them elite.

Panthers 31 Bengals 21
Bengal Maniac replied to Randy Parker's topic in National Football League (NFL)
Yes, they weren't horrible and really were in the game until the last 3-4 minutes. The defense, I hope, was not exposed. I hope it was just a bad game. I thought Gio, AD, Boyd, Eifert/Uzomah, and the o-line played well enough on the road to win. The missed FG took away any real chance to win. The Panthers got great field position, only had to make a couple of first downs, which they did, and kick the FG to put it out of reach. Overall, the Bengals just got beat. No bad calls, no really bonehead coaching or QB play, just got it handed to them by the Panthers banged up o-line against our front seven. -

That was awful and really the story of the game. You have to bring a safety up and Cam who is an average to above average passer, becomes a great passer and even a better runner (if that is possible because he is dangerous rushing the ball). Evidently, Jackson missed quite a few assignments yesterday which explains the couple of times there was no one within a football field of Funchess. -
As of now, two left that have picked, but one person has not picked yet. They have until kickoff tonight to pick either teh Bucs or Steelers. If they don't, it will be you and @SLINK moving forward. I was thinking as I was entering the Vikings in teh spreadsheet, that if they lose, this contest will be over really quick. I didn't think they would lose. There really are no upsets in the NFL. A few turnovers early, like what hapened yesterday to teh Vikings and there you go.
