  1. I know it is a 1st preseason game, but they could not cover the TE at all when the 2nd's were in. They lost both leverage and space. I agree Driskell looks better, but he was against third strings, but we see what we see and he looked better. He is a gunslinger, though. I like that. Barkley throws a great looking ball, but man he wasn't close on some throws.
  2. I thought both the 1st team offense and defense looked very good for this time of year and the vanilla stuff teams do. Depth is going to be a problem if this is any indication, especially at LB and QB. Barkley had the 1st team O-line in on his first series and he did not look good. Overall, I'll take it, albeit a meaningless Preseason game.
  3. I just pre selected will that do it or do I need to do something else?
  4. In my experiences, the best teachers had these skills, traits, whatever you call it: 1) cared about the students 2) had high expectation for students (content, behavior and production) 3) was not bound to a clock Sounds simple and with common sense. Sometimes one of these may be lacking.
  5. Tavern ham, American cheese, lettuce and mayo on white bread. Very basic for me.
  6. No they should not. This is probably the one position they have plenty of depth. They probably cut LaFell to give more reps to the youth they are grooming.
  7. I hate Lassing Point. The course is great, beautiful and no problems. EXCEPT for some reason, I play horrible there, not bad, but horible. I have no idea why, but am sure it is headcase issues now.
  8. Hang in there big guy, I'll check on you via your personal guide in life.
  9. Just returned from the Father/Son Golf Classic in Myrtle Beach. My son and I won our flight Net Game at -20 over two days. Won net by 7 strokes. Brought home some crystal. 5 years going, crystal twice. First time 1st place, though. Holes one out with an 8 iron from 140 yards for an eagle net 1 at Wachasaw East. Only got to play two of three rounds. It was a complete wash out on Friday. First cancellation in 21 years of the tournament. 7 inches of rain last week in teh Myrtle Beach area, they said.
  10. I have been playing from 5800-6200 for the last two years. Huge difference for enjoyment. My avereage drive is 210 so that is about right for me.
  11. What if whereever papa left his hat was not his home.
  12. Father/Son Golf Classic starts tomorrow in the Myrtle Beach area. We play a practice round today at noon at Barefoot - Love. We play Wachesaw East Thursday, Barefoot-Love Friday, and Crow Creek on Saturday.
  13. Chubby Checker stood and watched.
  14. I had them so bad one time a friend told me to stand on my tip toes at address and swing ( I was desperate and not sure he was even serious). Unbelievably, it worked for me. If I shank one now, straight to the tippy toes. Problem solved
  15. The Old Fashioned, I have one of almost every night... Jameson Whiskey (1 jigger) Angostura Bitters One sugar cube One maraschino cherry Ginger Ale A few ice cubes I don't use the orange slice/peel and prefer ginger ale.
  16. Headed to Mrytle Beach (Ocean Isle, NC) for the annual Father/Son Golf Claasic with my eldest son. 5theyera in a row and I alternate sons annually. We play Wachesaw East, Barefoot Love, and Crow Creek..We have played Crow Creek but not the other two. The youngest and I finished 2nd Net in our flight last year. That was the first time we had placed. The eldest is focused because he heard way too much about it this past year.
  17. I am in well maybe not. I have been gone for a while and not checked.
  18. An England/France final would be epic.
  19. He absolutely got no benefit of the doubt. Made his bed.
