polarbear98 Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Wow I figured MC would win but I thought it would be a bit closer than this.
gold sunrise Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Wow I figured MC would win but I thought it would be a bit closer than this. Me too. I knew they were good. They shot very well tonight and we couldn't throw it in the ocean. I give the credit to their defense. Cozart will give any team fits. Very hard to guard around the basket. Just a junior and a nice ball player. Also liked Gerald's game. He played well on both ends of the Court. Not sure what was wrong with us tonight but we played scared from the tip it seemed. Never could get into the flow of the game. They held us to only 2 points for most of the 1st quarter. If you are going to have a off night I would rather it be now and let it be a learning experience. Had the pleasure to meeting and sitting most of the game with Realreason. We had a great time talking and enjoying the game. Really nice person.
Randy Parker Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Man, I didn't expect this kind of margin.

Realreason Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 thanks for the stats Goldie, and it was a pleasure sitting with you and watching the game as well, although I am sure I enjoyed the game a little bit more lol. I look forward to getting a chance to meet other BGP'ers as the season goes on. WE played well tonight, and Cozart had his best offensive performance of the year so far. I have mentioned earlier, as most know or are learning, he is the rest rim protector in the state bar none, and his offense is a work in progress but improving every game. The rest of the team did what Feldhaus teams do, and that is get after it on the defensive end of the court. GRC struggled from the start, and like Goldie mentioned, only had 2 points up in till 2 minutes left in the 1st qtr. On the offensive end we shared the ball nice, and everybody contributed. We have a couple of players who can score in the 30's if need be, but everybody, thru the 7th player, is very capable of putting up 15 or more in any given night. The season is a long one, and we are not on a lot of people's radar, sort of quietly sitting down in the middle of the state, and we are ok with that. With the combination of offensive skill we have, and our defensive mind set, I have no doubt we are one of the best teams in the state. In the end, we have to prove that on the court against a very challenging schedule, but I know the boys wouldn't have it any other way. Great win.............Rollllllllllllllllll Tribeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! P.S. had a gym full of college coaches in last night and I am sure that we will see more as the year progresses.

But really, I think most believe MC will be good, usually a contender in a very tough region. That is an extremely impressive win over a very very good team.
