Final from the birds nest, this game was ugly, turn over after turn over. A win is a win I guess. Holmes played hard, just couldn't put it in the basket. Highlands can drain the trey if you leave them open, it seemed Holmes pressure finally wore them down a little. It is the first game for both, best of luck to both teams. Nice crowd for a Tuesday evening.

I saw some pretty sad FT shooting tonight at the game I was at......just boggles my mind. :idunno:

 

I told Mentschtrachgottlatch whatever, I could hit 90 of 100 free throws right now, and I haven't shot a basketball since shooting around at the Frankfort Convention Center during the All A State tourney in January.

Young?? They have 6 Seniors and 9 Juniors on the roster. I know they were playing without their best player in Ben Sisson but there is enough experience on that bench to make more than 1/11 FT's in the final Qtr. Just sayin...

Maybe young was the wrong word...inexperienced at the varsity level would be a better description.
