Thought Jolly would really have his way. Sounds like Campbell’s big 3 played very well. Don’t see many high school squads with 3 20point scores in the same game. Is Scott’s depth an issue with their 4th quarter collapse?

Nice win for the Tigers, especially with two starters out. Looking at the stats, NCC didnt exactly set the nets a blaze. These two see each other in the All “A”? Be interested to see them both at full strength.

The rivalry doesn’t appear to be much of a rivalry this basketball season.

Villa is having a really nice season. Didn’t their stud graduate from last years team? Have to be excited about this win tonight.

Dixie is not the same team without Cody. Has he been hurt? Holy Cross seems to have balanced scoring each game. They could make a run this year. That district will be a toss up.

Why is #3 playing for Dixie? He looked really good when I saw them play earlier this year. Very athletic and talented for a Sophomore.

Seem to be on a collision course with Villa for NKY Div III title. Calvary could have something to say about it though.

Maybe young was the wrong word...inexperienced at the varsity level would be a better description.

Highlands is young and will get better as the season goes on. Clearly nerves were shown by the Birds in that 4th quarter.

Call me crazy but I think Scott could be very good. I know they lose Ohmer, but their speed will cause problems for teams. It takes more than 1 players to make it to the state semifinals. Coach Fromeyer can coach!

Not sure how you can question their schedule. They play every NKY school except Cooper (who they scrimmaged). The only NKY schools they don’t play are Dayton, Bellevue, Ludlow, Calvary, Silver Grove, and Villa. New games on this years schedule include Boone Co, Campbell Co, Simon Kenton, and Scott. Let’s not forget that Beechwood won big over a very good Walton Verona team to open the season last year without their football kids.

Jake Walters signed with Xavier based on his potential, not where he is now. I am fine with him being number 6. I would personally place Burries at the 3 spot. Also, I think Dixie and Lloyd are over rated at those spots, with Boone County being underrated.

Winning seems to attract numbers. Traditional powerhouses will always have large numbers, teams that struggle have lower numbers. Not exactly rocket science. Good luck to the Tomcats this year.

I believe he has experience at the AAU level. I'm guessing he wishes he had his daughter back for one more season. Good luck Coach Johnson.

Wow, Mr. Butler will have plenty of options. I have enjoyed watching him play. Scary potential.
