A win over Newport without Hamilton is a great win. Is he injured? Seems like its going around more than usual this season.

Is Meyer healthy for Dixie? Scott got destroyed by Dixie in last years event. Coach Fromeyer is doing an excellent job with this years squad. I look forward to seeing the matchup, along with the other games.

Rivalry is alive and well. Always fun to see these two competitive with each other.

Walton is coming on strong. They could very well contend this year in the 8th, or at least make some noise.

Good win for Newport. Seems like they are developing into a solid team a year earlier than expected. Coach Snapp has to get some credit for the development of this team. Seems like last years team was a roller coaster ride while this team seems to be more enjoyable to coach. Congrats to the Wildcats of Newport.

Deontae Allen disagrees. These days, if you can play at a D1 level, they will find you. Especially with AAU ball getting kids more and more exposure.
