I don't see Hunter Meyer in the box score for Dixie. Did he play?

Meyer has been out since second quarter of the fern creek game. I saw in a boot on the Dixie campus Monday. Good to hear he is back this week.

Yes, good to hear he is coming back. I love the way he plays.

Probably a bit closer than I would have expected. Is the Cru shaping up and starting to find themselves, and maybe not the walkover that they appeared to be during the early part of the season?

Cru appears to be getting better and play very hard. I would think the score is more of a reflection of Dixie's coach playing everyone and Dixie's best player not playing.

As good as the rest of the Dixie starters are, Meyer makes them go. Wish him a healthy return.

Why isn't Bradfield getting the ball more inside? That is what is stirring the drink for Dixie! The more touches he gets is what will put them in a better position for 9th Region. Makes it easier for Meyer and other outside threats.

I saw them play 2 games this year (campbell and sk) and he seemed to get the ball as much as anyone. Historically, their coach shares the ball evenly so one person has a tough time from an offensive numbers end. They are 11-2. Sounds like a good problem to have.

Is Meyer there best player? Or, just the point guard-ish player that carries the load of handling the ball.

 

I really like Meyer btw. Strong kid, that plays hard, and is a good defender.

I believe he led or tied In statistical points, rebounds, assists and steals last year and I would think he is doing that again. He is their best player but they also have very good players in Bradfield, Schreck, and other seniors.

As others commented, closer game than expected. Of course it should be no surprise, the great and powerful Faust is working his wizardry...
