Quiet_Storm11 Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 Cardinals will drop a class in 2019 with addition of Great Crossing High School to the county. McKee’s youngest son will be a senior that year. Excited for 2018 but cards will certainly have a good chance to win it in 19

I take that back. Rising juniors and seniors will be allowed to stay even if they are out of district. Districting will effect freshmen and sophomores immediately.

barrel Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 Currently you have Royal Spring, Georgetown Middle, and Scott Middle. I believe there is another MS coming that will be paired with Great Crossing later. Can anyone give a general breakdown of hot the MS will feed the different HS according to the district lines?

Getting out of the Georgetown College deal is a win for Scott County. The college really took advantage of them is what I have heard.

They will be focusing on things like offering more AP classes and so on - at least moreso than Scott County High School does. Is there any truth to that? If so, does that make it a magnet system of sorts?

Getting out of the Georgetown College deal is a win for Scott County. The college really took advantage of them is what I have heard. They paid for 25% of the (decently) new field turf at GC. However, SC soccer uses the field a lot as well. But yes I have the same thing as well, brand new stadium with Great Crossing in one end zone and SC in the other. Athletic director DT Wells said there will be some Saturday games for both teams since they will be sharing the same venue.
