I like the idea of a league championship game, what I do not like is a repeat of a regular season game, e.g., Bama/UGA BYU/TT, I've already seen those games played. But I'm not sure how you guarantee not to have rematches if you don't have conferences in divisions.

Why? OSU and IU will both get first round bye's win or lose.

Raceland is now the Buffalo Bills of 1A football in Kentucky.

I think if the score is close Bama is going to get in simply because they passed ND this week in the rankings. If not, then DeBoer better head to State College, because he will not survive in Tuscaloosa.

I have not always been a Lane Kiffin fan, but since he has been at Ole Miss, I turned the corner on him, and thought, he had changed, but after this statement, and leaving for LSU, reminds me of what my dad used to tell me, "you can dress a pig up, and put a ribbon on it's head, but at the end of the day, it's still a pig!" Lane Kiffin has proved who he really is, if Lane truly wanted to coach those kids at Ole Miss and win a championship in Oxford, he would have been a man and told LSU, I'm not talking to you about your position until after I am done here. I am focused on what needs to be accomplished where I am." But no, Lane always had a foot out of the door, remember he was courted by Auburn a couple of years ago, and if the Bama job comes open I pray, that Bama does not even consider him for that position. I'm not an LSU hater, but I hope he falls flat on his face down there and just see how quickly those Cajan's turn on him.

I still have problems with ND being in this race. They got beat by the two teams they played, and the rest of the schedule has been very weak.

I'm not sold on Lane going to LSU, I think he's going to stay at Ole Miss and give it a year or two, but DeBoer will be out at Bama and Lane will go to Bama. I think this is what the GOAT has advised him to do.

The first thing that needs to happen is UK, needs to fire Barnfart! His stupidity for giving coaches outrageous contracts, is costing UK. Cal saved him in basketball by leaving, Stoops is not going to leave, he needs to be fired but before I fired Stoops, I'd fire Barnfart!

Do they come any better than Coach Wallace? In my opinion, they don't! Thanks for all you have done for Kentucky High School football, you are one of the best to have ever done it. Proud to call you my friend!

I got a chance to watch Grayson County this past Saturday at Taylor County, one of the better teams in the 5th. But with that being said, pick your poison with Grayson, they have 5 guys that can all shoot the ball, all the Mardis kid did was add another shooter you have to guard. Defensively, they play sound fundamental basketball. Grayson is legit.

Owensboro Catholic has the title of being a school that just can't seem to win the big one. Always a bridesmaid, never the bride! Here comes Beechwood to Steele Stadium, and once again, OC is a bridesmaid. I think Beechwood has too many athletes (remember that conversation from last year) and is just a superior football team. There's always next year OC.

I don't want to discredit anything that Atherton has accomplished this year. They have been a solid team. Good speed, and athletes all over the field. But as someone said earlier, beating BG this year, could be fool's gold. This BG team was not the BG team that we have come to know over the last decade. So, I'm not sure how much stock I put in that game. PC beat Corbin who put an absolutely beat down on Highlands, in their house. PC has played a much tougher schedule as has previously been stated. Plus, Coach Burns has been here, and done this, and has the rings to prove it. I think that is something that cannot be overstated. Pulaski has size, and enough speed I think to get it done. I do think this will be a solid game, but I think the dream season for Atherton comes to an end at PC. I do think this game will be close but Coach Burns will take PC to Lexington to go Krogering!

I think Belfry is on a mission to win one for the memory of Coach Haywood. Belfry will make back to back weekend trips to Lexington in a close one 34-28

I think the rumblings of Rash will be too much for the Yellow Jackets to overcome. Very few teams come into Rash in November and leave victorious. So, I'm going with the Red Devils to go shopping at Kroger.

I'm planning on going to the OC/Beechwood game as well.

Here is what I think the Semi's will look like: A - Pikeville at Raceland Campbellsville at KCD 2A Beechwood at Owensboro Catholic Belfry at LCA 3A Bell at CAL Murray at Lloyd Memorial 4A Corbin at Boyle TBD at Franklin County 5A Atherton at Pulaski Woodford County at Owensboro 6A Ryle at South Warren Trinity at St. X

I honestly believe Lane is going to throw a monkey wrench into this whole coaching carousel and stay in Oxford! His son is the starting QB for the Oxford High School team (and does not want to leave Oxford); his family just moved to Oxford and love it there. Which means I hope Florida and LSU have a plan B in place.

I do believe that PT's speed will be too much for Highlands, although admittedly I've not seen Highlands this year. But I do know PT has speed to burn. As far as X and T are concerned, I'd love to see Kevin get to go shopping at Kroger one last time. Do I honestly think it will happen, I don't think so, but I do think Kevin can out coach Cobb, but I don't know if X has the horses to follow the game plan.

If I looked at it correctly, then the Semi's would match up like this: A - Raceland would host Pikeville and KCD would host Campbellsville 2A - OC would host Beechwood and LCA would host Belfry 3A - CAL will host either Bell or LC and Lloyd Memorial will host either Murray or Bell 4A - If Boyle wins, they will host Highlands, and Franklin County will host PT. IF Cov Cath wins, they will go to Franklin County and Highlands would host PT 5A - Pulaski will host winner of BG/Atherton and Owensboro will host the winner of Woodford/Scott 6A - South Warren will host winner of FD/Ryle and X will host T. From there I think it's the following: A - Pikeville vs Campbellsville with Pikeville winning. 2A Beechwood vs Belfry with Beechwood winning. 3A CAL vs Murray with CAL winning. 4A Highlands vs PT with PT winning 5A Pulaski vs Owensboro with Pulaski winning 6A South Warren vs X with South Warren ending Kevin Wallace's storied career.

I have trouble with ND being as high as they are, no way should they be higher than Bama. I think TT is a to high as well.
