For the 2nd year in a row Kentucky doesn't show up for the Louisville game.

6 and 18 in conference over the past three seasons.

Only 3 home wins versus SEC opponents in the last 4 seasons.

Does Stoops have enough self awareness to decide that it would be better for him and Kentucky if he left?

Does Mitch have the $$$ to fire him outright without negotiating a lower buyout?

Lots of questions that need to be answered in the next 48 hours.

 

Tough year to be looking for a head coach with several big time openings. I think Kentucky might be viewed as a dead end job by an up and coming coach and guys getting to the end of the road may not want to try to rebuild before seeing success. I say it all the time.....not enough big time talent in Kentucky and the biggest school struggles to get them.

It's time to move on. Don't care if it's a bad year to go coach searching, don't care about what Boley may or may not do. It is absolutely time to move on.

Mark Stoops will be back. They cannot fire him with so many quality jobs open. 

The only way he's not back is if he decides to walk away from $30 million.

There are a lot of openings and I agree with you on your other points too. And I don’t think UK may be able to afford to fire Stoops outright.

If I'm Barnhart I'm going around the state to raise the money to buy out Stoops. Donors maybe in giving mood to get rid of Stoops.

Stoops actually laughed when asked if he would consider walking away. He's got Mitch by the seat of his pants and he knows it.

He'd be a fool. And he's not going to do that. If he leaves, they are paying him.

Barnhart should be getting slammed for agreeing to such a terrible contract.    The money is one thing having to pay it in 60 days is insane.     Just think if Calipari didn't walk away.

I just learned about that part recently. That is actually crazy. 

Am I wrong, but golly it looked like Ky was just going through the motions from the get go after the blocked punt.  Just felt like the guys were phoning it in and weren’t prepared for the battle.
