With what Natalie is building at DC would be hard to see her leave, plus Break already has a good girls coach there now in Moorman, and I don't see him going anywhere.

With that mentality, then there are a lot of coaches at different schools are complete failures as well, when they revamp their roster. I think this is the era we live in, like it or not, it's not a reflection of failure on any coach.

The same reason Perry left, and Noah is fixing to leave. They don't want to be buried in the bench when they feel like they can play. So go somewhere else where they can play. He should have stayed at Belmont, he will not survive in the SEC, and if he's fine being buried on the bench, then by all means go to UK, but if he thinks he can play he should have stayed where he was.

Travis Perry was Mr. Basketball, he's now at Ole Miss, so again I will ask why? He's not going to help them.

With regards to Haworth leaving Louisville and coming to Owensboro, there is one caveat that I think is missing. Haworth's wife is an OHS girl. It would be a chance to her to come home, and remember, "if momma ain't happy, ain't no body happy!" That could be a reason to leave Male and Jefferson County.

This region will be Grayson County and everyone else. Also, you can kiss Meade goodbye as they will be heading to the 5th region.

I remember my first Sweet 16 Championship game there was over 23,000 there, you would have thought UK was playing, but with the age of the internet and streaming games for $10, $10-12 to park, $15 dollars per ticket, spending $30-60 on concessions more folks are staying home where it cost nothing to park, you've already spent the money for concessions and you're just out the $10 for streaming. No there was not 11,000 people there, the lower bowl was 3/4 full and a few in the upper deck. Congratulations to GRC boys and girls that is an awesome feat!

I will say, that St. X was the BEST TEAM, but the BETTER TEAM, won last night. Congrats to GRC boys and girls now that is an amazing feat!

But they played Saturday morning. The sad part is all week they never shot the ball well, but managed to win, until Saturday Morning!

I still say that St X was the best team there; however, on Saturday GRC was the better team. St. X had opportunities and didn't take advantage of them. The great thing about any tournament, the best team does not always win.

Being from Leitchvegas, I'd love to see Grayson County cut down the nets Saturday night. But I've felt all year long St. X was the most complete team in the state. I still feel that way. If you want to rob Leitchvegas, Saturday morning at 10 AM CDT would be the time to do it, because the last one out of Leitchvegas turn off the lights. The storybook fairy tale comes to an end Saturday morning in Rupp!

Yes sir, it was the State Championship game. When two top teams meet, there tends to be a let down from the emotional high from the previous game. Which I think may have been the case for St. X in this game.

Should be a good game, but I think the Cougars have too many weapons and options for scoring that I'm not sure the Warhawks can match. I will promise you this. This game will provide a GC winner!

So its hard to say that this was the "Championship Game". Yes, North Oldham did beat St. X earlier in the year, but it's not hard at all to say that CC/ST X game was the state championship game. I will stand behind that statement until someone beats them, and the way X played Wednesday, I don't see anyone in this tournament doing it.

If that statement is true, then Tackett needs to take the RPI and throw it in the trash bin. Why have it, if you're not going to use it, and you can't pick and choose which sports will use it and which will not. Use it across the board, or not at all.

Can NL give St. X a game?

If GC plays like they did tonight, Grayson will be playing Saturday Morning.

I'm not from CC, but as a High School basketball sports fan, who will be attending the Sweet 16 this weekend, I feel like I've been cheated because the very first game of the State Tournament was the Championship game! The KHSAA is in love with the RPI, and IF, the RPI is so good, seed the dang Sweet 16 or throw the RPI in the septic tank where it truly belongs! No GURU, I'm not a major league crybaby, I just think the Championship game on Saturday night should be the 2 best teams in the state. Now it's not going to be that way.

Why do you think it was a slap in the face? They did not have 1 quad win on their schedule?

It is my understanding that Caverna did not have a boys Middle School team this year due to a lack of interest. That does not bode well moving forward to the High School level. This is going to be a tough ask.

I agree with ApolloFan, I will not be surprised to see Grayson playing on Saturday Morning!
