KHSAA State Tournament Quarterfinal

Grayson County ?⚪ (26-6, KSR #25)
vs.
Great Crossing ?? (24-11)

?️ | Shame on anyone who thought that a program nicknamed the Warhawks would go quietly into the night. After navigating the treacherous waters of the 11th Region, Great Crossing is back at Rupp to piece together an Oscar worthy sequel to last year's state championship.

Sophomore Brady Orem has stepped into a starring role, using every inch of his 6’7” frame to average 21.7 points and 10 boards per game. He's backed up by Travanti Cooper (14.1 ppg) and Graham Swartz (11.4 ppg).

After beating Danville Christian in the first round, a fairy-tale follow-up now runs through Grayson County and the high scoring Cougars, one of the state's best pure shooting teams. Grayson boasts splits of 50% from the field, nearly 40% from three, and 78% from the free throw line. They're half a point shy of having all five starters averaging in double figures, headed up by Jack Logsdon’s 20.2.

Will Great Crossing continue to live up to its name, or be turned away by a pride of hungry Cougars looking to write their own history?

Tip-off: Friday, March 20th at 1:30pm

Should be a good game, but I think the Cougars have too many weapons and options for scoring that I'm not sure the Warhawks can match. I will promise you this. This game will provide a GC winner!
