Arizona St parted ways with Bobby Hurley

I see them eliminating district tournaments and going to a Super Region like they do currently in the 15th region.

Grayson played Taylor in a scrimmage right before the season started and beat Taylor by 10-14 points and it really wasn't even that close. I think Grayson wins and advances.

I watched the 7th region final at Valley, and I was impressed with St. X. I think St. X has something to prove and they pull out a win in the first round, and advance.

@ApolloFan98 I also think in the GC/DC game that Acton's foul trouble certainly hurt DC. It was an amazing game and the atmosphere was electric. I thought Coach Johnston, almost blew it by attempting to take the air out of the ball with about 6 minutes to go in the game. GC was up 11/13 at that point and when he did that GC lost focus, and DC made a tremendous come back to tie the game only to Jagger Mardis crush their dreams with a 3 at the buzzer. Great game!

The Taylor/Caverna game will be a war, and I think Caverna wins. I think the Adair/North game will be a war as well, in the end I think Adair with their tournament experience, will beat North setting up a Caverna/Adair final that should be a dandy.

Just why does none of that matter come Saturday? No doubt Moss and Watkins are good players, they are going to get theirs, you just can't let Acton or the other 2 go off for 17-22 points. I don't think Daviess has an answer for Armstrong. I think it is crazy that they are doing a split session starting at 4 and 7:45, not a good decision. Just my opinion and no one cares $.02 about that.

After watching both games tonight, I am convinced that Grayson is the better team, and I think Brody Armstrong will be the difference maker.

A West Virginia native and legendary college coach, at age 89 has passed away! Coach Holtz is the only coach to lead 6 different teams to bowl games. Won a national championship in 89 at Notre Dame as they defeated West Virginia in the Fiesta Bowl. He was also the coach of the Catholic's vs Convicts game Notre Dame against Miami. He was a staple on College Game Day several years ago. Prayers for the Holtz family.

I think the answer to that is schedule better non-conference schedule. Miami, could easily schedule Ohio St., Cincy, Indiana.

Who am I favoring? Not sure I've mentioned one team aside from Miami.

Since some on here are so high on Miami of Ohio, let me pose this question to you. Joe Lunardi, in his Bracketology has Miami as an 11 seed. Let's say they finish running the table and are 34-0 going into Selection Sunday. Is an 11 seed too low for them since they are undefeated?

Reread what Bruce said, if they lose, they are not one of the best at-large teams, which if they lose in the MAC tourney that is what they would have to be is an at-large team.

Then win your conference tournament.

I think the same argument that we have for the best 12 football playoff teams, applies to the best 68 teams in the NCAA tournament. I congratulate Miami of Ohio for the accomplishment of winning 29 straight games, but I am not convinced they are one of the best 68 teams in America and apparently Bruce Pearl, who has forgot more basketball than I will ever know, thinks the same thing.

I'm sorry are we giving out participation trophies?

The only thing in doubt about this game is the final score. But GC wins big, will they go for the century mark?

Miami has ZERO Quad 1 wins and only ONE Quad 2 wins. They will have to win the MAC Conference tourney to get in, if they lose tonight at Western Michigan. I still believe they will have to win the Conference Tourney to get in, I do not see the Committee taking two teams from the MAC. So, we will have to let it play out and see what happens on selection Sunday if they lose.

Everyone loves a Cinderella story, and I must admit I'm a sucker for one as well. But let's be honest, that Murray St. team, played a much tougher schedule than Miami has played. I'm convinced, if they don't win the MAC tournament, I don't think they get in. Will the committee take two teams from the MAC? That's the question that has to be answered if Miami loses in the Conference tournament.
