I like it other than the part that is self serving by including the media poll but sure, why not!

If you aren’t in one of the Louisville regions,  the NKY region, the Lexington region, or the Bowling Green region, why would you want it seeded?

Because one day you may be coaching in one of those regions and have a team go to State.

Love to have some type of process where we get at least some semblance of best teams playing on Saturday.

Someone smarter than me could dig. But I wonder how many times the "best games" between teams in the top 4, was not on Saturday.

Any seeding of the tournament will eventually lead to classifying it. 

I'm not dedicated to seeding, but I tell you this much - that "wheel of regions" nonsense needs to go away.  People already thought it was rigged, and now they do it all on a computer that TOTALLY can't be rigged. And the very first year it just so happens that the regions that had the #1 & #2 teams at the time drew each other right away. 

At least this proposal is vastly superior to grabbing the RPI.  And I say that as a supporter of the team that was #1 in that.

I say keep it the way it is, or go to a class system. The small schools already don't have a chance. This would only make it impossible for them to win a single game.

Seedling it would be a bad idea as we all know the Sweet 16 is not the best 16 teams in the state anyway. That’s what makes Kentucky unique. 

I don't see why you can't do a hybrid.  Seed the top 4 teams (1 goes in each quadrant of the bracket) and blind draw the rest.

Just put the 8 biggest schools in one half, and the 8 smallest in the other half.

What's more important? Having good first round games, or having a great championship game?  Random draws may create some good first/second round matchups, but down the road, it can create bad semifinal/championship games. Especially when there is so much disparity between regions in terms of strength allowing weaker teams to get in, and leaving strong teams out. Put the best teams in regardless of region, and you'll get better first round games AND a good semi-final/final. I could live with a random draw if they just put the best 16 teams in.

Why did they make more video games? I mean once you have pong, why do you need anything else?
