  1. The feeling is mutual my friend:D
  2. Ru in an effort to precipitate conversation about a possible chink in Highlands armor has taken the "Untouchables Approach." The Feds feudal attempts to pin anything on Al Capone forced them to ultimately indict him for tax invasion. Realizing the unlikely event of a Highlands loss in 10 and continued success Ru is simply attempting to circumvent honest straight forward debate on the merits for far more reaching theories hopefully beneath most of the posters on this site. The posters on this site are sharp enough to pick their own battles with each other without constantly being egged on about matters and topics most consider minutia.
  3. Quite honestly I could care less what Ru thinks about this team. Good job today Birds! The defense behind Abner and Bruns and a whole lot more are setting the tone for this season. Again I've said this before if one part of this offense is a little off the other picks it up. A very balanced team.
  4. Trinity won right? See that's what the really great teams do. They lose their starter and their back-up and they simply win. Oh it may not be as pretty as some would hope, but the bottom line is, it's a win.
  5. Didn't Manual beat BG in a scrimmage this year 7-0?
  6. Shouldn't this thread really be called "Programs Posters Who are More Bark Than Bite?"
  7. A one-dimensional offense will not win a 5A title in 2010.
  8. Yes really jbwill2. Withrow is light years ahead of Eastern!
  9. VOR if Boone plays Eastern they lose by 7. If Beechwood plays Eastern it's very, very close. I'll be suprised if Eastern comes within 40 of Highlands.
  10. I think in H.S. football a defensive back can hit a wide receiver going out for a pass 30 yards downfield if he wants to, as long as the ball is not in the air at the time of the contact. A little different than College and certainly the Pros.
  11. Ryle is going to win, but their big concern better be keeping Elliott healthy. He is carrying the load in Union.
  12. Dixie has lossed to NC who escaped with their lives tonight against Campbell County. Dixie lossed to SK who barely beat Henry Clay and now they've lossed to Ryle. Welcome Ryle to the world where winning is no longer enough. Maybe Ryle isn't playing their best football right now, but the bottom line is that they're winning.
  13. How did Rowans quarterback do?
  14. Towles + Time = TD. Towles + No Time= Towles run for a lot of yards!
  15. Well Ryle should be thrilled they won't have to deal with Geisler when they play Highlands.
  16. I'm a little confused 2 Humped Camel. An opposing team of Campbell County that has played Highlands this year?
  17. If this were 1982 HC would have won this game by 60. But it's not 1982 it's 2010, so HC squeeks by. SK has trouble running where Boone didn't against HC. HC is very athletic, so it will be a game of broken plays.
  18. I watched Ryle earlier in the year against Highlands. Ryle is 3 or 4 touchdowns better than Dixie. There has been a lot of talk about about Spritzky. I'm not sure of how good of a coach he is or isn't. In my dealings with him he's been a pretty classy guy.
  19. There will be some freshman kids from Highlands that will come in and play next year and it won't be because there is depletion in talent, it will because they are that good.
  20. I think Highlands is going to be very respectable this year. Patrick Towles will compliment Jack Stewart quite a bit down on the block and that will create some serious headaches for teams.
  21. Austin Sheehan 5 receptions for 185 yards. Averaging 37 yards a pass completion Daniel Gold 9 receptions for 204 yards. Averaging 23 yards a pass completion Brian Gall 9 receptions for 194 yards. Averaging 22 yards a pass completion
  22. I think the fact that it elicited a response from you is sufficient.
