  1. I hope it continues! Highlands got a lot out of that game last night and will be much better for it. They will not see anything remotely close to that all year.
  2. I'm sure when Clyde started this thread it was to recognize the accomplishments of Zeke. It's amazing that you felt it necessary to drop Patrick Towles's name. Ease up "Big Fella" Pat is a great kid and is no threat to you or anybody at Dixie. I'm sure if Pat saw ya or found out who you were he'd come over and give ya a big hug and say "Wingman96", "how's it going." Highland plays Dixie this year I think. After the game drop by and get a picture with Pat. I'm sure he will sign it, "to my main man Wingman96."
  3. I'm not suggesting that it's out of bounds, however if you're interested in the heat being taken off of this kid then simply don't start threads like this. Do you agree?
  4. Quite honestly why even bring the twitter thing up?
  5. Highlands looked exceptional on the offensive side of the ball yesterday. The offensive line based on what I saw looked very very good. There were no weak links and more importantly there is quality depth.
  6. These 52 people have obviously been to a Highlands practice this summer.
  7. I can tell you that at the end of the year there won't be any speculation about Donovan McCoy from Highlands being a top playmaker. He has looked spectacular this summer.
  8. Well it is early, but it beats a "Best Concession" thread all to heck.
  9. From what I understand the offense was pretty dominating even though Anderson's DB's were playing about 35 yards off the ball, (they were quick learners I guess). The defense I understand was equally impressive even though Anderson's regular QB wasn't there. What's interesting is that Anderson has a top 10 ranking and Elder doesn't.
  10. I believe tomorrow morning at 9:00am at Highlands.
  11. Barnes and Noble in Newport said they didn't carry it. The transfer station in Newport usually has it, but he didn't have it as of last Thursday. I just ordered it online.
  12. I don't believe UK ever offered him a scholarship.
  13. Highlands has typically had some pretty good 7 on 7's with Mason County during the summer. I wonder since they're playing each other this year if that will continue for this summer?
  14. Im sure George Custer thought he was ready to go as well.
  15. Well that's not necessarily true. For example an offer to play at Thomas More doesn't mean you're getting a full scholarship. For me "Offers" are an opportunity for kids to continue to play regardless of scholarship.
  16. I understand that the University of Kentucky offered Austin Sheehan a preferred walk on status today based on his impressive performance at camp today. Congrats Mr. Sheehan.
  17. Is this statement contradictory or am I reading it wrong?
  18. I understand that Patrick Towles has been officially invited and has accepted a spot to compete in the elite 11 finals in Los Angeles. Hopefully someone tells him before he goes out there that there may be cameras and reporters at this ESPN event.
  19. I assume you'll be traveling with the Pikes to California?
  20. Travis Elliott of Ryle HS committed to WKU. I've seen this in a couple of publications, but I'm not totally sure if it's accurate.
  21. Didn't Dixie lose to Covington Catholic last year?
  22. KY offered a 2013 QB the other day from GA. Bolin is a great kid in addition to being an excellent QB.
  23. And who can afford to go. These camps are cheap price wise, but the travel cost really add up. I'm sure there are a lot of very good athletes out there who would love to attend these events, but to the travel cost don't go.
