Who else from Kentucky went?

Zeke

Zeke

OK, I wasn't sure if he attended or not. Anyone else or were they the only two from Ky?

Well done Patrick. Looking forward to watching you lead the Birds this Fall. :ylsuper:

Quote from an article Elite 11 Midwest Recap, "Lexington Catholic's Kyle Bolin is not far behind and has a few offers already. He throws a nice ball and is an accurate kid, but he needs to add some weight, which will help him put some more velocity on his passes." Underclassmen

Quote on Pike, "Pike, on the other hand, did not have a good day. He admitted, in fact, that it was one of the worst throwing days he has had. Obviously, we will not get too high or low off of one day, and we've seen Zeke do well before, but this was an off day. The thing I like though? He's coming back tomorrow and looking to redeem himself rather than sulk and hide from the competition."

Here is the mention of Towles, "Kentucky commmitment Patrick Towles is a big kid, who moves well and can throw on the run. I'd like to see him smooth out his release, but he has the tools you look for in a quarterback prospect."

Very happy for Patrick. He is going to have a great year.

I think Rowan County QB Adam Wing may have attended too.

There was an entire story on Towles Elite 11 performance on catspause, but im not sure if im allowed to copy and paste it here since its a paid subscription...

I was a spectator of the elite 11 in Columbus and saw all the action. Towels had a good day and threw some okay balls, was inconsistent but showed upside. Pike on the other hand had an okay day had a little trouble getting in rhythm but that could have been cause ESPN was pullin him for interviews every other throw. Both threw well, but pikes under a different microscope and on a whole different level than towels. Being the third ranked QB in the country his every move is evaluated. In the end of the day I guess Pike being the one who is advancing to Los Angelos for the elite 11 finals would make him the more prestigious quaterback. Both had greata camps, buy two whole different levels.!

Another thing noticed about the first posts link.... Tom lunginbill is on the selection committee for the Under Armour all American game. Those selectors aren't to fond of a US Army all American game commit. Which is why ESPN will differently rank and down write these army game players

Congrats Patrick! Looks like ESPN is discovering what HHS fans already knew.

I agree with this. I think Towles has a world of talent but his release and where he throws the ball from were things I noticed when I saw him play. Sounds like he had a great showing at this event. I am glad to see him getting the recognition he has earned.

We're at Post #15 and no one has complimented uk#1fan for starting the thread? Thank you.

I believe in redemption (but still have him on ignore). Trust, but verify.
