How did they come up with this list? Is it seniors only?

No James Quick?

No Mekale McKay?

No J.J. Jude?

I'm surprised to not see James Quick on the list unless this is for senior only which I'm guessing it must be.

They must have forgot about Travis Elliot!

For those mentioned above, do they take the place of one of the top 5 playmakers, or are you saying they should be on the top 10 breakout players? The top 10 breakout players is a list of slightly known players who will possibly be household names after the season like Elliot, Quick, Jude, etc. These guys already had breakout seasons, so they shouldn't be listed there. As for the top 5 players, many can argue a whole list of deserving players.

Every thing I've read/seen has Quick as probably the best athlete/offensive player in the state. So I would be surprised for him to not be on the list of top 5 playmakers if the list isn't only for seniors.

Travis Elliot is the best player in the state I still can't believe he is not on the top 5 players!

Better add Zack Hester (LB) from Boyle County to the Defender list. There may not be a better 'do it all' player in the state this year. He'll be Boyle's defensive leader, and also tote the rock 15x's (if not more) a game.

Purple Pride, I suspect you can provide some back-up for me if needed??

The articles didn't state it, but looks like they are all seniors.

My mistake on the "Jefferson County" players. I didn't click thru to their profiles. Northington is at Butler and Warr is at Manual.

I can tell you that at the end of the year there won't be any speculation about Donovan McCoy from Highlands being a top playmaker. He has looked spectacular this summer.

Question is will he get enough opportunities to get noticed? Lots of weapons on the team.

Any list without Quick on offense, and Jonathan Jackson on defense, leads one to believe they're seniors.

Maybe someone can tell me what i'm missing here because I usually run my mouth before I get all the facts. Unless there is a reason he's not eligible for this list I can't understand why J.J. Jude isn't on here? If 3,000+ yards rushing and 580+ in one game doesn't make you a playmaker then what is the criteria? Johnson central played a schedule that included Ashland Boyle, Bell and Belfry in the regular season as well as Scott, Covington Catholic and Highlands in the playoffs. Lost to Highlands by 7 points. That's not exactly a list of patsies. Obviously you can tell from my name that I am biased but belive it or not I don't know J.J. Jude very well, however I have to imagine that stuff like this just drives him even more to succeed. This list is a disgrace! If you wanted to make a list of the top recruited athletes then call it that but don't say they are the top "playmakers" and leave the biggest playmaker in the state off the list. What a JOKE!
