I gave you all 30 minutes to post and no Birds fans yet .... sooooo ..... the Beechwood Tiger fan gets the first post. :D

The Birds have raised their own high standard over the past few years as they have moved to true platoon football. I see no reason why they shouldn't continue that high performance standard this year. I expect another state title and I know all the Bird's fans do as well. It will be nice to see the tougher 4A division and how that goes this year. I look forward to hearing ALL the details about the Birds in this thread as the season draws near. When do 7 on 7's start?

So does this thread mean that there has been no Highlands 2011 talk since last season?

All I know is that this years Birds team will be "fast" and play "mad"!!!! lol

I noticed Ram started all the other "H" threads on June 5th but left Highlands out. Thanks Rockmom for the picking up on the mistake.:thumb:

Probably it was under the "F" for Ft Thomas Highlands or maybe even under the "T" for The team from Ft Thomas". Who knows but I saw that too. Man we get no respect in this State. Hahahahaha!!!

Highlands is good but to play 8 games in one month is a bit much! LOL!

:lol::lol:Double headers.

According to Dale this year's team will have so much awesomeness that he will spend most of the practices scanning a Thesaurus on his smartphone searching for a better word.

State title #5 in a row? Definitely in their sights.

Games I am looking forward to are Dixie, Boyle, CovCath, Elder and Ryle.

8 wins in 1 month...must be a down year. The Birds picked up 12 wins in one day last year.

Well, I think he was confused. There was so much talk about Highlands in other team threads, it would have been an easy thing to miss that there was no individual thread for Highlands. :D
