To hold BG to 12 in light of the numbers they have been putting up is impressive in my book. Year and year out, the Purples are one of the premier programs in the state regardless of classification. I heard that T had about 120 yards in penalties. Hard to win when that happens. The Rocks need to play more disciplined.

Yes, the Rock penalties were huge and ended a lot of drives or created deep holes. They had a second and thirty on the last drive. Came up short and a first down would have sealed it. The defense played very well. Jason Hatcher was wreaking havoc all night in the Purples backfield.

If it was as bad as you say, you shouldn't get on the officials, you should get on the Bowling Green Police Department.

For those who predicted 35+ point win by T (Alan60) and 59-14 blowout by T (Oxnard), I must say you couldn't have been more wrong. BG held their own with Trinity and had a chance to win the game.

You can talk about penalties or backup QB's, I don't care. BG came to play and hopefully we will benefit down the road for playing this game tonight.

Have to wonder if some of the penalties were out of frustration for the Rocks.

In instances like the above, I often find that if they were that bad, they went both ways in their display of poor judgement.

The refs called a one sided game all night. There cant possibly be any denying this. Home cooking was WELL in effect. Not to take away from BG..they played a great game...with that said, the refs were miserable tonight.
