Any word on this game, which is being played tonight?

I left and it was 43-0 Highlands early in the 4th.

I left at halftime and the score was

Cooper 0

 

#28 for Highlands had a couple nice runs. #31 returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown.

Sounds good!

#31 is going to be a stud. Looks like a young Drake Bruns. Highlands QB had a very nice TD pass, #28 and #45 looked like the usual Highlands backs running the trap for a TD. #44 LB had a pick six TD for about 40 yards.

Quite frankly the Cooper coach play calling just puzzled me. On more than one occasion Cooper had WR's wide open, but the WR's just dropped the ball, while indeed the WR's drooped the ball a lot, at least they were open. Cooper had no running game until the end of the game!

 

Also, why would a coach not punt the ball on a 4th and 10 with their backs to the goal-line and in fact more than one time go for 4th down with 10/20 yards to go. Strange one indeed.

 

Note: I left with HHS leading with around 2:30 left in the game!

31 is Jalen Hayes and 28 is Thomas Wrobleski. This team is 4-6 deep at running back. Top to bottom, this is a strong team. This class is going to be fun to watch for the next 3+ years. Next up....Beat Cougars!

What number is Harris? Isnt he the best of all 3 running backs? He also is an animal at LB.

 

The team is loaded with FTJRFL talent as well as a few kids that were studs for the Red Devils last year.

#31 Hayes is going to be really good. I could see them working him on varsity next year when they get up. He moves around the field like Seidel but hits like Bruns. Also, the line is big for freshman, this will be a very nice class.
