  1. That call was terrible. He ran right into his own teammate. Its sad when refs take the game away from the team that should be playing in the final. I was at the game but on the Boone side and couldn't get a good look but will say after watching the replay that that was bad. For any ref to miss that is unexcused.
  2. I talked to one of the assistants about two weeks ago and he said they were just starting to interview people this last week.
  3. I did not see him take away from Cooper's win at all...
  4. Surprised Bradley from Cooper isn't on there as an athlete. At the end of the regular season he was leading NKY in rushing, was 4th in state in rushing. He also lined up at QB, WR, LB, S, and DE. If that's not an athlete I don't know what is. He also punted in a game the kicker was hurt.
  5. Ryle and Cooper do open up against each other.
  6. Well at least he doesn't have to worry about Highlands now... but he does have to worry about Ryle, Dixie, Boone, and SK. Wish him the best of luck.
  7. Today was the closing day on the job search. From what I've heard over 40 people from all over the country applied and to get the job. I would think an announcement would be made mid January.
  8. Heard from a source tonight that what you just said is very true. There is no coach in place and they still are interviewing candidates.
  9. Is his father the Superintendent(sp) at Ludlow?
  10. There is no such thing as a moral victory. A loss is a loss. I don't know why everyone wants to sugar coat a loss nowadays?? To be the champ you have to beat the champ and from my view Ryle looked far far away. Good luck to both programs in the future.
  11. Is the world ending? Haha I'm just playing with you. Ryle may have a chance, and I'll be rooting for them, but I think Trinity is the state champ this year.
  12. I was making a point that people complain whether you're 3-7 or winning state titles. That's why coaches know better than to get on a site like this and pay attention to what the QB club in the stands has to say. You're right, football is more than winning and losing games and from what I have heard, the kids at BB are pleased with the head coach and he is obviously doing a good job in helping them learn more than just the game of football but the game of life. But hey, let's fire the guy because after three years his team was only a 4 seed in the playoffs instead of a 2 seed. Give me a break.
  13. Didn't they play at Ryle earlier in the year? Thought they would have figured it out the first time...
  14. I guess it's a good thing the administration makes these decisions instead of parents. I remember hearing people complain about Yeagle when he was at Beechwood and they were winning state titles. Brossart is what, a 3rd year program? The fact that Brossart made the playoffs is great in itself. Of course the people in the stands who aren't ever around the program or practice sure do know what's best.
