When surrounded with elite talent he is insanely good. His high school team pretty much stinks outside of him so he is asked to do it all which leads to forced shots and opponents using 3 and 4 players to try and stop him. He is an excellent perimeter shooter in the 20 or so times I have watched him against the best of the best...

I agree watched him play AAU ball last year on TV a couple of time. That was the one player I really wanted UK to get after he opened up his recuitement again. He is one that really impressed me.

I guess all the recruiting services have him wrongly listed as the #1 or #2 player in the nation. I sure hope Coach K knows this info. May need to rescind his scholarship.

I've just never become a real big fan of the kid ever since he burst onto the seen and just haven't been that impressed by him. Granted I know I'm just an avid fan of basketball and I know I haven't seen him as many times as you have GT and gotten to know his game so I'm not disagreeing with anything you said. Its just the times I've seen him I've just gotten the big impression he is a me-first player and he hasn't performed that well. Granted what you say that his high school team is poor outside of him does contribute to that so I'll definitely give him that one. Thats why I leave things like that up to recruiting sits and the guys who do the scouting to break down a guys game and not me. Just commenting on what I've seen on him and my personal opinion of him is all.

No worries. If I had seen the same from him in like settings I would have no trouble putting it out there. Did so with Barnes at this time last year and it was spot on to how he performed the first half of the season. Was glad to see he found his groove and played up to potential from there, but the eval was spot on in terms of what he had to work on to make the adjustment...

I added their ESPN rankings to see how stacked the West team really is.

Average East Ranking: 20.5

Average West Ranking: 12.25

That's a crazy good West team.
