Awesome gift was a tin with a family picture on it—inside is a puzzle of said photo!

 

Honorable Mention goes to a magnet cup holder for my teacher cart, from a very thoughtful son who has heard me complain about the challenge of holding a cup while pushing a cart.

 

Best gift ever was watching smiles on my kids’ faces as they opened their gifts.

It's funny...I agree with you. But then I once had someone ask me, "So, assuming you were to get poop on your hand. Would you prefer to A) wash it off with water, or B) wipe it away with a dry piece of paper?"

 

Suddently a bidet made a lot more sense.

My inlaws got me a nice wristwatch to replace the one I recently had kick the bucket. It's a VAER. Pretty nice American-assembled field watch. Swiss movement, and it has a sapphire crystal so it hopefully won't get so damn scratched.

 

 

My parents got us a Anova Sous Vide cooker...I set it up this morning with some skirt steak before I left for work. I'm going to get those started up before too long here.

 

My wife and I were overly-responsible grownups and got each other glass block windows for the basement, lol.
