I know he's sounds all gruff and angry at Ashley on here, but I really think Ref would flirt with her big-time if he was seated beside her at the game. He would melt like butter. :)

Oh my friend, I would love to sit by her, she would hate my freaking guts after 5min.

I think she took it to the next level. Not a fan of celebs who use their fame to express their politcal views. If it was us, nobody would listen to us. But becasue of her smokin hot looks and body she gets air time. She wants to make her statement, let her do it and let her accept the reaction.

This.

Not my celebrity.

I don't really care if she's at the game or not, but I assume she'll be there if she wants to go.

Booing her would be a waste of energy. Go to have a fun day at a basketball game and boo someone who is doing the same? Sounds like a grand time.

Until the women's march I had always defended Ashley Judd. I think a portion of the fan base disliked her for her politics, others because she as a celebrity and gets access to great seats, players and staff, allowed in the restricted areas, etc.

And some because she was referred to as UK's number 1 fan by the media, ESPN, Vitale. That I understand and you could argue that many others are bigger fans wether the person that camps out for big blue madness, travels all over to see the cats, the painted guy in the top row, the person that has attended every game for decades, or even the person that has never been to a game but lives and dies with the team has a room that was a shrine and their entire wardrobe is blue and white.

I understand those points and why especially the #1 fan thing gets under someone's skin. Politics don't bother me as much as other people and I can like or admire a person while not agreeing with their politics and don't think someone's political view define them. People are just more complex than that, irregardless of how goofy their Facebook posts may be ( this is directed at my brother and two early 20's nieces who all need to close their Facebook accounts until they develop a filter or common sense).

I followed Ashley on twitter and admired her twitter campaign against human trafficking. But her rant at the women's march was ridiculous. This usually eloquent and Harvard educated woman adopted a persona where she had a slight drawl and seemed she was trying to affect a Southern Preacher or caricature of one.

And some of her statements where bizarre and don't even see the point.

Her and a lot of women and signs brought up that viagra and rogaine aren't taxed (prescription drugs) but tampons and pads are (over the counter). Others mentioned razors weren't taxed, I don't know where they shop, and don't most women buy razors too.

As for celebrities at a game. I'm assuming you have never been to a Lakers game? They show all the famous folks. Each get a little different reaction from the crowd. It is part of the complete experience. Much the same as getting one of those tasty ice cream cones while at Rupp. They would cheer when they showed her on the jumbo tron before, pop her up there again and see the reaction. Maybe she gets more cheers?

And for Brisoce, it would be the 80th time. LOL

Terrible analogy, considering they won four Grammys in 2007, well after their supposed fade into obscurity. Their tour that is going on now is one of the top-selling tours of the past year, with many, many sellouts. They've done just fine without the conservative pop-country audience they enraged with their comments about GW Bush and tiff with Toby Keith.

Yeah, a ten year vacation was very nice to them.
