Coach Kuehn is now working at Ballard. He has not joined the coaching staff there. At least not yet.

When I had my Akorn grill I Wanted to cook a brisket just never had the time and money at the same time. Then with Covid meat prices went crazy now don’t want to spend that much on a meat that can be hard to cook. If prices ever go down will try it now that I have a pit boss pellet grill

It actually wouldn’t depend on the FC area. FCHS only gets about 50-60% of the market share for that part of Louisville. Privates and public-privates have had their grip on the area for awhile now. Nevertheless they are still in top 20 in enrollment. I doubt we’ll see a drop anytime soon.

Old Goats Radio is broadcasting the game https://boxcast.tv/view/6a-playoffs-2nd-round-969874?fbclid=IwAR1eUTlD1s_bHCnTc32gLBElKsZU2pGg-3xID5YtFsMeTlwNaZ4iJIKw-7o

Look up FCHS Flyers QB Club on Facebook, it is streaming on Facebook on Frankfort Plant board.

Gotta discount the score on the Frederick Douglas vs Ballard game a little. That was scheduled just a day or two before the game as a replacement. Neither team had much time to prepare or game plan. FD has a lot of division 1 players and seemed to be Jimmy’s and Joe’s had more of an impact than X’s and O’s with no prep time or film study. that was also the curfew week with tons of distraction in Louisville, JCPS schools barely got to practice at all that week.

They need to re-word the teams not participating in stats at bottom of the report. In 6A, all of the teams listed not participating have their stats up to date but have only played 1 game, minimum of 2 games is required for stats reports. Those teams are Eastern, Fern Creek, Henry Clay, Dunbar, St X.

Just an FYI, Butler at Fern Creek scrimmage is no fans, not even parents are attending. As of today our live streaming camera for NFHS network has not been installed yet, everything is on site just needs to be installed and calibrated for the stadium. They also have to run the network cable from field house just behind the press box into the press box for the steaming camera. If it gets installed tomorrow we will try to test it during the scrimmage.

Fern Creek’s Terrance Mitchell 5-10 175, Senior. Last year rushed 110 for 1110, 13 touchdowns, averaged 10.1 yards per carry while sharing the load with 3 other backs. Departed players Anthony Teague had 136 carries, Donte Cambron had 76. Mitchell should get more carries this year as well as Herve Blode 5-9, 160 who had 71 carries for 477 yards and 3 TD.

I will be adding several more games, right now I only have access to gameS from 2014-2019. Will also be adding highlights for every season that I can get.

One of our coaches works at Ford and is off work awhile. He had been rewatching games and was posting clips on Twitter. When he got to past games some of our former players requested we make those games available to them. I didn’t realize that once they graduated they were removed from Hudl access and couldn’t watch their old games anymore. So i got nominated to start a YouTube channel and I’ve loaded several Fern Creek games from the near past. They are from Hudl and are our direct coaches film, most are intercut with press box and endzone view, they do not have any audio. Fern Creek vs Covington Catholic 2016 playoffs- rare 3 angle game, press box and both endzone Fern Creek vs Dixie Heights 2016 Fern Creek vs South Oldham 2015 Fern Creek vs North Bullitt 2015 Fern Creek vs Seneca playoffs 2014 Fern Creek Highlights 2019 And a short drone clip rotating around the stadium during a night game. I had it for one month and really just watched the show “See” with Jason Momoa. I really liked that show, didn’t watch anything else on it, didn’t renew after the first month.

Hoewever my mother never used hers and my brother ended up borrowing it years ago and his kids use it now.

Several years ago my stepfather had several mild strokes within a few months of each other. He retired and was on disability, my mother was already retired with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. That Christmas was the year the iPad mini first came out and I got them each an iPad mini for Christmas. My stepfather loved his, he still uses the iHeartRadio radio app to listen to KSR and other UK related radio and podcasts. He o,aged Tiger woods golf, monopoly and a few other games. He has never used it much to shop online or to surf the net. He prefers the bigger screen of his IMac. On that he daily reads KSR, Courier Journal, and shops online on Amazon and a few other sites. I may get him a bigger ipad, the mini is limited now can’t upgrade IOS past 10 and newer apps will not work on it. He just spent a few days in the hospital and I brought him my iPad Pro 11 to watch UK vs Missouri, the hospital didn’t have SEC network. With the bigger screen he was able to surf the web and read KSR and used the CJ app as well. I brought him home today and he hinted that he liked my iPad Pro so may get him one or upgrade mine and give current to him.

Coach Walker was already retired Army, now he is retired from JCPS and coaching as well. Best of luck to him!

Have you considered purchasing and installing a set of field markers like these. We have them on our game and practice fields. It takes a little time to find the holes the first time you paint each year but don’t have to paint the field all off season.

According to KHSAA Riherds scoreboard Boyle kicker was 86-87 on PAT kicks, but was just 2-3 today and the miss proved costly. Had him at 8-8 on field goals, per MaxPreps longest FG was 38.

What are you watching on? I am watching on Apple TV4k, hardwired Ethernet with 200 connection. (Spectrum), on the NFHS app. I didn’t have many issues, a coup,e times when they go to a replay I get a spinning wheel but that might be on their end when switching sources. A few times they have cut back to play late

Feel sorry for Jacob Tamme having to babysit on the broadcast

Was following this on my secondary tv with Main tv on UK basketball. Now switched this game to main. Thought it was a lady announcing but was told it’s a high school boy, whoever it is is annoying. Gonna have to put this back on mute.

Not sure how it’s done elsewhere. In the Louisville area the coaches all meet and coaches nominate their own players then vote and can’t vote for own players.

Old Goats Radio Crew will be broadcasting https://boxcast.tv/view/manual-vs-male-403637 also on Facebook live
