Manual is a real force and this forever traditional battle should be another bigtime test for each. I pick Male by 10.

I'll be at this game. I've never been to one, and I'm very excited.

I'll take Male. Pretty much whatever else has said, Male will just score too much and Manual won't be able to keep up.

Is Manual capable of defending Male's big and tall outside receivers without compromising its run defense?

I picked Manual because my daughters go (went) there! Couple things:

1. I've watched several Manual games this year and they have impressed me in every game compared to last season. Coach Carmony is doing a great job.

2. I think Manual's defense will play well in this game, but they will not be able to silence the big WR's on the outside and they will eventually score.

3. I think Male loads the box and shuts Manual's deceptively good run game down.

This cycle will wear the Manual defense out and Male should score more TD's later in the game.

4. Manual's passing offense has improved, but that was against teams that don't have the atheticism and speed Male has. I just don't think Manual's offense can keep up. But hoping for some defensive or special teams scores to keep Manual in it for a longer period of time.

 

I hope I'm wrong.

 

It will be a great atmosphere at Manual Stadium, where these games have been played on the Manual side at least since around 1923. That alone makes it worth going to in my book! Good luck to both teams and no injuries!

The Male - Manual game for years was played at Fairgrounds Stadium on Thanksgiving AFTER the state championship games were played. This should be one of the better games played in recent years.
